You just pretty much use E to get in range, ultimate someone against a wall, use W stun for double CC and finally Q + auto attacks to finish the enemy off.

"A person giving you advice isn't perfect and has their own shortcomings but they may give you the piece that you're missing."
I don't use gnar, but Q is pretty close to gnar when it comes to combo aesthetics. Here's a video that might help.

Also, I think the levels of immorality in this thread are astounding. You'd really throw a child off a boat for your own luggage? Wow.
Mini Gnar: Q auto, proc BorK and Ghostblade (if you have them, I build 'em) continue your auto barrage, when in doubt hop on them to kite, stay out of melee range with movespeed boost and slow with Boomerang. Targets don't last too long for necessary kite; you typically do enough damage to take them out with the actives and a few autos.
Mega Gnar: Hop on them, boulder, stun, auto a few times (use procs if you've got them) theny ult them into a wall once they try to run.
I'm not a Gnar expert, nor do I main him, but he is a top laner that I feel proficient with.
glhf :)
