You don't have to ulti supports. In fact, you usually don't until later into the match because they have a ton of CC. :p
It's perfectly sensible to ulti the MVP to delete it from the map. In fact you will find yourself doing this more often than not.
There are many factors to account for when using
Diplomatic Immunity, I can't explain all of it in one post.
Other than that, tricky is the word to describe Heroic Charge. It takes a lot of practice to fully master i.e. learning not to go out of your way to wallstun, not to go for hard stuns when there are easy ones, dealing with Flash etc.
Also some corners have larger hitboxes than it seems.
Somewhat unrelated (rito incoming poppy rework) but the way I'd rework the Poppy ult is something along the lines of: She casts a spell on her target, which makes all enemy units caught up in the aoe around that target become invulnerable and unable to take actions for a duration. Meanwhile her target would either: take additional damage from her/all sources or deal less damage (since you know, they want to make her into a tank) for the same duration.
There we go, a diving tank. This would add counterplay (not bunching up), preserve her diving ability somewhat but in a more controlled way and make her remain a late game threat.

Just Ult the tank after he blown his initiation out, you will be Olaf for the next 5~6 seconds. Still, you would have thought that if a pick is good, it will get noticed eventually, yet the fact that there's still ground you haven't explored on a champion 3 years old is interesting. I'm somewhat convinced, but I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some replay where Poppy deadliness shows up.
