AD Carry is much harder than support, your mechanics have to be pin-point from start to finish. As a Support, you can kind of slag on what you're doing as long as you're placing wards. Saying support is harder than AD Carry is a far cry from the truth. AD Carry is the hardest role you can play in this game if you ask me.

Making plays in bot lane is the support's job: if you screw up as a support, you will easily lose bot lane for you and your carry. Even if you're a terrible ADC a good support can carry you, because all you have to do is react to the plays, right click, and not feed.

In my experience there has been nothing harder to play than AD Carry because I can win lane even with a bad support.

Playing support is harder. If a game is close, you and the jungler are the two people solely responsible for making the game winning play, through good peel for carries, or lockdown of your opponents. The number of times that an ADC has made a game winning play are far and few compared to the number of times that a support has made a game winning play.
This kind of thing trickles down to diamond ELO play, high plat play, and maybe even gold. In lower ELOs, teams are too disorganized to really take advantage of a good support's play.

I've played support and I find much easier to do that kind of thing. My opinion still stands, support is an incredibly easy role as initiating is easy. The actual fight itself is the hard part. It's a lot harder to have have pin-point fighting mechanics than initiation mechanics.

Support is harder than ADC in terms of decision making and controlling the game. ADC' require more mechanical skill, but their role generally has very little control of the game anyway, so they are forced to basically "not be ******ed" as their major degree of difficulty in role.

And honestly, supporting is ******edly easy at low elo if you're good at it because bot lane has the highest amount of mistakes being made (two player means double the mistakes to abuse!). Since you seem to be an ADC main, wouldn't hurt to also main support just to be extremely versed in bot lane.

I do play support, and I play it pretty well, but I'm not going to main support any time soon because I prefer to do DPS.

I agree. That's why I've been shifting to mid as of late. It's more fun to do the damages and also make plays. ADC tends to make me braindead zone into farming, or die trying to make plays that I can't actually make. xD

Mid lane is fun, but I'm not a fan of doing magic damage, or melee champions. I like doing attack damage and I like doing it from a range.
