Yeah, I reaaaally doubt she was raped at all, and it's ridiculous that she was (dunno if it's still ongoing or not) allowed to carry that mattress around "to symbolize the weight" she carries around ever since she got "raped". The guy's been declared innocent on 3 different occasions and by carrying that mattress around she's ignoring the verdict and it's basically the same as walking around her camping screaming "THAT GUY RAPED ME, THAT GUY RAPED ME, HEY GUYS, LOOK, THAT GUY OVER THERE? HE RAPED ME, HE'S A DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING, HE RAPED ME EVERYBODY". Because everyone knows what the mattress deal is about, not everyone knows he's been repeatedly declared innocent.
**** her.
**** her.
Just participated in my first chess tournament. Only 1 more day to go. Went 2w-1l which I'm content with.
I'm really happy because I just won a game that was supposed to take 5 hours, but only lasted one

Thanks a lot for the sig, jhoi! :)
I'm still perplexed to the genders of many people on this site... Someone who I always thought was a guy suddenly whips out the good ol' "So my BF and I" and then I have to reevaluate my own life and why I suddenly assume everyone on this site is a guy.
Like how that classic meme goes, "The Internet: where men are men, women are men, and little girls are the FBI."

If it makes you feel any better someone who used to be on MOBAFire thought and as far as I know still thinks that Jhoi is a school student and it makes me want to slam my head through a wall.

Basically MOBAFire.

I haven't seen the video, nor do I really have any intention of watching a play-rape porno categorised as art. Here's the thing, if she's a rape victim, I really feel for her. One of my dear friends has had instances of sexual abuse when she was younger and I've seen all the things that have happened to her as a result. I'm in no way wanting to say that people who have been in a sexual assault case are weak or need to simply just live with it.
Now.
The first thing to actually note about this whole thing is that the whole thing doesn't even have any stable foundations. Sulkowicz and her alleged rapist were in a consensual relationship for an extended amount of time, during which they had consensual sex numerous times. The specific incident of rape occurred during from what I've read an initially consensual rape session where the 'rapist' got rough with her and then stuck a **** up her *** against her will. Additionally, there were Facebook Messenger exchanges that occurred two days after she filed for rape where the rapist asked Sulkowicz if she wanted to snu snu again and she said she wanted to.
Listening to this, the only thing that can be concluded is that it's complete ********. If the actual evidence surrounding the case isn't enough to persuade you of how idiotic this whole case is, she had to think about the incident for months before she eventually came to the conclusion that it's rape. If you were raped, I think you would know that you were raped. You shouldn't have to ponder on the situation fr months before you have come to conclusion.
But one could argue, "Why would someone display so much passion when it didn't really happen?"
For one, passion doesn't mean ****. I display my passion for that Japanese cartoon poontang on a daily basis on this site, but I'm not a Filipino hentai addict. The other thing to note about this so-called passion is that she was never motivated by the desire to stop sexual abuse of women. Everywhere I've read, she's just been protesting because she wants a guy expelled from her school. Everything she's done for "justice" has been done just so she can see an outcome she wants. This isn't for the greater benefit of anyone. It's like a man who goes to war not to defend his country, but rather, to kill people. Everyone that rallies around her, no matter what they think, isn't supporting a greater cause. They're simply just alienating a single guy who's life has probably be ruined based off of shakey claims and because a mob mentality has formed against him. If anything, my sympathy goes out to that guy. He's had to be incredibly inconvenienced because of ******** that no one can prove.
I'm incredibly glad the school itself did not succumb to all the pressure from the students and decided to expel that guy. It would suck for that guy to have his future ruined based on this case. A case like this needs to be proved beyond reasonable doubt, and there's so much ****ing doubt going on through everyone's minds, only to be strengthened by her recent actions.
Like I said, I haven't seen the video. I don't want to see the video. I can't comment on what happens in it other than the synopses I've read of it from all the coverage it's received.
I feel like the image Sulkowicz has in her head of what she's doing is radically different to the reality of things. She thinks she's doing this for some sort of act of justice. I'm just sitting here thinking about what the **** went through her mind when she was expecting no one to watch this for a merry old time. The conclusion I've come to after pondering it is that she's simply betting on people to come for a tug and leave with an epiphany. But the thing is that the people that come out being disturbed by the video already have thought about how terrible sexual assault is, and then the rest of the people are just there because rape videos aren't allowed on Pornhub. Creating such a daring video is courageous, I'll give her that, but I think that the video probably will fail in her supposed goal of trying to get people to see the issues regarding rape, because most people already are aware of these issues.
Personally, I just think that she's riding the momentum she's built up and just wants more attention so more people can pressure this guy. She's probably thinking, "****, I've gone this far with my protests. I may as well just go through with it and do something that people can't argue against my dedication to this cause." Of course, these are wild assumptions with little to go off, but honestly, this whole thing has such little to go off that wild assumptions were necessary in order for this to have gone anywhere.
Sorry for writing such an incoherent mess, I started this really ****ing late and I slowly felt my mind trail off as I wrote this. I don't even have the mental capacity to proof-read it right now. I might touch up in the morning.
EDIT: Added a few things here and there, missing words, letters, etc.
