I had just hoped that I'd get my main back when I saw his popularity rising after his passive buff. I almost exclusively played him for like 2 seasons and was ready to drop nasus without looking back for a second just to have my hopes shattered.
I still have the muscle memory for all the old ryze combos(even after a season or so of not playing him) and know all there was to know about him, but it doesn't matter anymore.
The new ryze isn't even flexible enough to punish someone who is out of position adequatly and melees can pretty much freefarm as long as they stay behind a minion.
The point of his old q was that while the damage of a single q wasn't that great, it started to matter after hitting 3 or 4 qs. with the new ryze, the damage of a single is still not good, but you don't really have a way to compensate if the enemy has half a brain.
now you have relatively short windows of opportunity that are predictable, but the problem of the old ryze, getting in range, still remains and thus, all you have to do is to stay back for a couple of seconds and you shouldn't take any significant damage.
I know that maxing w would help with some of this, but that would mean completly giving up having significant poke in lane in favor of being bursty every 10-20ish seconds while being used to have both things readily available at any time.

Just had the pleasure of supporting a
Varus who went for the amazing double
B. F. Sword into
Essence Reaver rush build and unfortunately for me (and our team), his build was not the worst part about him.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
The enemy team is in a trainwreck (AFK
Caitlyn,
Ekko and his predicatble W placement, feeder
Vayne, my
Enchanted Crystal Arrow always hit someone which is a miracle). AIs are more okay than them, tbh :P

Thanks to winston gergill (muh Valentine in 2016)for the sig!

So I go 15/1 in a ranked match, some guy friends me to duo afterwards. We win the next game but lose the third because those things happen.
He instantly unfriended without a word, I called him out on it (5/9 was not the worst score on the team by far lol) but no response.
Some people, man. The lesson here, kick those thirsty *****es to the curb because they're only after your elo (and I'm only gold V, I can't imagine the **** diamonds+ deal with)

He seems fine to me excpet the part that his q stops at the firts enemy hit. Because of this, I can't really bully in lane anymore, which ruins half of why I liked the old ryze so much
I get that the old q was pretty oppressive, but couldn't they have integrated a mechanic like urgot's e into one of his skills?
