Sweet build! I had a question though... I don't know why but I've never managed to be able to use my ult in the 3 games I've tried this build for... what am I doing wrong?

As in, the ult will not activate? Or you aren't able to get into position for it?

I think you may be trying to move in after you've already transformed into Mega Gnar, rather than trying to engage as Mega through a Hop or by using a Crunch / Flash combo.

You lack the sheer amount of raw tankiness as a usual Gnar (though still pretty durable) so ults in Mega will either have to be used as a traditional flank or a flash-engage, since otherwise you'll be poked down pretty hard when trying to circle the enemies for a chance to move in.

It definitely takes some practice; even I'm still not as adequate with it as much as I'd like!

Sweet build, however I have one question @ Aqua Dragon:
With the changes of the build for Abyssal mask, it requires to buy Catalyst into Abyssal Mask, which gives it 300 mana now.
Do you still think it is viable even with the wasted stats?

Good catch! I don't think so; I think that was just a relic on the guide from when Abyssal Scepter used to be worthwhile. Adaptive Helm is just so superior by comparison for most purposes; removed Abyssal accordingly now.

I was thinking Fervor might be better, especially since most Gnars run it these days, even when AD bruiser. It simply gives more sustained damage than a Grasp proc would, considering Grasp's effect is halved for ranged champions. What are your thoughts on this, Aqua Dragon?

I think it will require testing. Note that the magic damage of Grasp benefits from the sheer amount of magic penetration that Gnar has, and that Fervor is only really useful in Mini form instead of useful in both forms as Grasp is. But the recent meta Gnar shift is interesting and is worth testing the value of on AP Gnar as well.

I've found it to be especially effective against champions who have difficulty retaliating against standard Gnar, but usually stack armor which mitigates Gnar's effectiveness (Nasus, Maokai, Malphite). Malphite is tough unless you get a Corrupting Potion.

Has even matchups against stuff like Fiora and Wukong who can retaliate more effectively.

Can burst a bit harder than harass matchups like Teemo and Heimer if a little lead is acquired.
