If you want to do more damage as a caster to hp tanks go with Deathfire grasp
Check out my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/JohnnySceneTM
I see. But this item is UNIQUE Active: Deals magic damage to target champion equal to 30% of their current health (+3."5% per 100 Ability Power) with a miminum of 200 damage. 1 minute cooldown." which means I can only use it every 1 minute.
Umm... question. Before I use Lux's ult if I active this item will this effect on every targets that I hit??

Exactly, DFG is the best choice for casters.

I do want to point out that Rabadon's Deathcap is a really ****py item to get that early. Get it as the fourth or fifth item instead.

For example, say you have Deathfire Grasp in your 4th item slot. If you wanted to use it, you would just press the number 4 button on your keyboard and click on a person, and then you'll see a big beam of energy come out of you and hit the opponent for 30% of their current health (+3.5% per 100 Ability Power).
So let's say you wanted to combo with DFG-->Ultimate-->Lucent Singularity-->Light Binding. You'd basically just press 4-->R->E-->Q, just like DFG was another one of your skills. It only works once every 60 seconds, like the description says, so no, it does not affect units hit by your ultimate. It's like a separate skill of its own.

OH~~~ So, it is not like the Sheen(UNIQUE Passive: 100% chance when an ability is used to increase your base damage by 80% on your next attack. This effect has a 3 second cooldown)
It is like another skill!! cool! thanks!!
It look like Madred's Bloodrazor is not a good choice for casters....
Nah, Bloodrazor isn't good. Most casters are bursty, meaning you should be dashing in and out of battle, casting spells, never staying in long enough to draw focus fire. Bloodrazor basically requires you to be in attack range, and generally, if you can hit them, they can hit you.

What exactly is this a response to? Sorry, just got a bit confuzzled :S

Oh that guy. I figured it might have been him.

I am a magic user (Lux) and of course Lux isn't the strongest mage, but if I use Madred's Bloodrazor, could I do more damage to the tanks?
Or would it be just better to get an Archangel's Staff??
This is how i buy it usually 1. Doran's Ring > 2. Sorcerer's Shoes > 3. Rabadon's Deathcap > 4~ Archangel's Staff
I mean if the opponent does not buy MR than I don't have to buy Void Staff.
But anyway even if I go with all AP. It is hard to damage a tank with high HP (like full grown Cho)
I know i won't give big damage to the tank, but would it be good idea to buy Madred's Bloodrazor if there are many tanks??
(example... if there are many tanks and low MR) 1. Doran's Ring > 2. Sorcerer's Shoes > 3. Rabadon's Deathcap > 4. Archangel's Staff > 5. Madred's Bloodrazor > ~~ Archangel's Staff)
If so, would all of Lux's skill will have that "On hit, deals Magic Damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum Health." effect?
