We won a Mobafire Inhouse last week where we had a Bronze 5 [[sivir]] who couldn't CS, kept dying stupidly and went afk. Yes we won a 4v5. Winning doesn't mean you did jack shit about it.[/quote]

Spending 300 gold on not damage increases the chance that I'll deplete my mana faster than I'll deplete his HP bar. Secondly, [[riven]] has more synergy with resistences anyway because of her shield. And thirdly, Riven just needs to be tanky enough to survive one burst to win, Talon would need to be tanky enough to survive both the burst and the overall [[riven]] DPS, which just isn't gonna happen. Maybe I would have survived a fight or two and been able to recall instead of dying if I bought a [[cloth armor]], but it wouldn't change the fact that the only way [[talon]] beats [[riven]] is by cheesing her with burst, so I needed enough damage to burst him through the [[cloth armor]], and buying one for myself would have delayed my damage.[/quote]
