To be honest, I don't really see a reason to add those separately when it's already explained in the ability description how it works. I realise they are displayed as actual items in the store to him, but - unlike other champions with champ-specific items (like 
Viktor) - he doesn't spend his gold on them, so adding them to a cheatsheet build order seems odd as well.

Well he does spend 500 silver serpents on them
And the order is pretty critical as far as I am concerned. Maybe they are not that important but they would be good if they were there :^)

Right, my point was that the cheatsheet shows in which order you should spend your gold, and since this uses a different resource it will never force you to delay other items. Also, just for the record, does
Gangplank have a choice in terms of the upgrade order or is it fixed?

He certainly has a choice and I think we should include the Silver Serpents and the ulti upgrades in our Database.

What about Silver Serpent as mentioned by IceCreamy? They won't be very useful in a cheat sheet but they may come in handy in the body part of guides, as it's not entirely clear what "those serpent thingies" are at first glance.
