I feel like the text itself, i.e. the actual words, do not really go well with the image whatsoever, but if that's the combo you've been stuck with, then that's that. Additionally, the text seems to be following the same gradient as the image, but in reverse, however, in the artwork itself, the yellow is way in the back, and the orange/red upfront; creating perspective. The text takes the same colours, but doesn't have that perspective, which makes it stand out to me, and not really in a great way. I agree the words don't go with the actual image itself but I really prefer the PROJECT splash compared to the rest, but unfortunately like you said it doesn't work well regardless. When it came to the color of the text I ended up using a nebula image that had a really similar color palette to the splash art, so I kinda got lazy when it came to the color of the text. Aside from the text, what did you think of the image itself? I was trying to go for a somewhat simplistic look with some light foreground focusing. I think I did a decent job.[/quote]
