GREAT GUIDE, i find it really helpful and i would like to thank you for all the help and effort you put into it and i would like to ask u if you could update this increadible guide to the new season 6 masteries ;) please and thank you for all your amazing work, i personally like to play ekko mid but take smite with the stalkers blade enchanted with the new runic echoes instead of buying the ludens echo, for 2 reasons, 1 that with the chilling smite and your Q is WAY easier to land your W since u have 2 slows, the other reason is that it costs less than ludens echo plus it gives the same passive, also with the smite u can help your jungler whenever ur taking dragon or baron to have a greater posibility of outsmiting your oponent, basicly sacrificing some of ekkos earlygame (by taking smite) to gain some advanges mid-late game ;) hope so see what you all think about it. PLEASE UPDATE UR GUIDE that'd be awsome ;)

I was just going to add that I find it kinda hilarious to do what was mentioned earlier. E into the enemy team, drop w and use zhonyas before you get cc'd, and then ult as soon as you come back. It wrecks so hard and is a great way to start off a team fight.

Really enjoying the build. I swap some of the timings around to better suit game play at the time, but this is a solid build that has brought me great KDA when going Top teamed up against a friend of mine (Riven). Performing some Top 'n' Gank as we call it...

Does the Build work on Toplane?

Great guide :D. This guide helped me become the ekko i am nowadays ;p. I am probably going to main zed first though ;-;.

I don;t understand wht you're not utilizing Lich's Bane or a Rabadon's Deathcap. You have an extremely high AP build, and a Rabadon's is a huge power spike for you. It's a pretty essential item on pretty much any AP champion. ever. Except maybe cho, but you can build anything on him.

And now for Lich's Bane, which I'll go into more detail than Rabadon's. I feel it's a great first item, more so than Morellonomicon, and for good reason too. The sheen passive gives Ekko a HUGE power spike on his E, and it allows for some major *** poke in lane, especially if you buy it first item, and the laning phase is still going strong. It also is a little better on the wallet, since sheen is only 1200 gold, and aether wisp is 850 (950 maybe?).

i guess you should update your boots to ionian's boots because it will give ekko more CDR to make his Q more effective in ganks and evasion

Why not build Lich's Bane? I'm really bad with him (and LoL in general) but it seems like a good item for him, or it's not?

What about rushing lich Bain?

I still recommend building Void Staff. The reason I decide to build Luden's Tempest is solely because it is one of the only 120AP items in the game, and Ekko is solely an AP assassin. Unlike other mid-laners, Ekko will rely soley on his killing power. In other words, if you aren't guaranteeing yourself a kill with your combos, you're putting yourself in danger. Furthermore, Luden's Tempest will drastically improve your lane clearing and farming ability.
