You do seem to have a few intelligence issues though. I said about five times before that happened that I didn't feel like playing to begin with, that was just the final straw. Kindly piss off with telling me what I did and why, not only am I much more aware of it than you possibly could be but it's completely irrelevant to anything.

Okay then, addressing your original post; this is nowhere near the first time Levask acted aggressively towards inhouse members. Last night he was acting inappropriate and offensive with little to no provocation even after being asked to stop, and I've decided I'm no longer going to play inhouses with that guy in the games, let alone hosting them. I was thinking of doing so a few weeks ago but changed my mind, this just reassured me that I was right the first time; as long as he's being allowed to host, I'm not playing inhouses.

Good for you man. You could just, y'know, stop showing up, contact Wayne to complain privately, or post something mature instead of childish one-line sarcasm but nope I guess this was definitely the best way to handle it.

Stop straw-manning me, it's irritating. If you're not actually going to say anything meaningful then don't bother.

I'm fairly sure you actually said that, I doubt your team mate was mishearing. And when I confronted you about your leaving over my "tryharding" with the Lucian pick you said you "can't be bothered to deal with that ****", implying you left because of it.

"Stop straw-manning me, it's irritating."

So far, good job on the drama guys, but it could use a bit more insults and petty responses, so I'd say it's a 7.5/10 so far, but I'm sure we can do better!!

I think it's unnecessary to continue fighting about the incident anymore. Nothing can be won by pointing fingers at this point.
We should focus on improving the inhouses from past experiences. I'm not sure what's the cause of the unhappy feedback but we should talk about it in a calm matter so it can preferably be fixed for the next inhouses.

Friday's inhouses were a bit tense but I didn't see anything too special worth writing about. Saturday's inhouses had no problems.

I'd like to suggest that people - specially refs - would start actively suggesting changes to balancing if there's an issue with that.

Also, although I'm ok with people calling to my attention that I keep pairing them with X person and would like to try with someone else (which I find perfectly reasonable), I've had more than 4-5 different people refusing to play or asking me not to play with a person because they dislike them. This would be ok if we were all at the same elo, but it actually brings more balancing issues and it'll also conflict with other people who already requested something else entirely. I've had to bear playing with people I thoroughly disliked before and I think we could all be mature enough to do the same. If there's evidence that they are being innapropriate, report it to a ref and we'll do something about it.

It just got to the point that there's not much new blood in inhouses and people start having little pet hates that can turn into something else. Just breathe for a bit and ask yourself if a) is it worth getting hot and bothered by it and b) if it's so horrible, why not do something else?
Thank you Tsuki for the sig!

^ Take a closer look at that wisdom.

I had no idea that people were actively lengthening everyone's balancing experience because they couldn't be bothered to play with a certain person. I think it's ridiculous to act like that and I think that refs should stop paying attention to those things. In my opinion, balancing should only involve three things: actual skill balance, not having the same teams and trying to get some speaking people in both teams. Someone disliking someone else should not govern the balancing process. Heck, saying you don't like someone else in itself is already in contrast with the whole essence of the inhouses. It's rude to say the least.

We've had a ****load of complaints about games being unbalanced and I think we've just got a bit further to understanding the why of all this.

Furthermore, language issues. Right now, everyone insults everyone for the laughs. Apparently not everyone thinks that's funny. So I suggest that referees actively stop others from trashtalking even if it's meant as a joke and (of course) form an example in that themselves. It's a rather drastic change we'll have to bear with. Don't insult others in the lobby or in-game chat.

On top of that, some people raised points about in-game behavior. Mostly people getting completely destroyed due to the huge skill differences during laning phase. I'm not entirely sure how to prevent this, maybe someone else has some ideas?

Finally, I think a lot of **** has gone down because there are way too much non-members in the games. It's only logical that outsiders don't know of the rules or don't care about the rules. False also pointed out earlier today that they simply don't respect referees enough. What I'm trying to say is: if there aren't enough members/sign-ups, just don't play.

I know it's terribly ironic for me to say such a thing but it has come to a point where it may actually help us out to just not play an inhouse game if we have to take three or more randoms (that is, people who didn't sign up and aren't mobafire members / well-known at this point). So yeah, that's kind of in contrast with what False just said.

Alrighty, i'm seeing all the Regulars suggesting that referees do their jobs but here's a crazy thought perhaps be the change you want to see and become a REF seeing as you are the most qualified to do it. Right now only reason I can think of a reason not to do it is laziness.

Also thread gave some good chuckles so i suppose
