What language are you programming in? Java?
not even 200cs in 20 minutes, noob. The fact that they didn't punish you for faming badly is proof that you just destroyed a couple of lvl 10 players to boost your ego.
We started with Python, which isn't THAThard I suppose, but considering I had never programmed before, yeah... My grades have been steadily improving, but I am still in the danger zone. I need to practice a lot more. Btw, we are starting JAVA next semester. I know for a fact that it is a pain in the butt of a language... But it might get interesting.

Computer Science (I think that's what it's called abroad). Out of 5 subjects, I currently passed 2... still need to take an exam for the other 3.
Dumbest thing is, we have PHYSICS... like, for Christ's sake, it MIGHT be useful someday, but let's face it: it's just there because it is a base for engineers. Also, I need to practice a LOT of programming... I am one of the few who got in without any basic knowledge (on how to program) and it is kind of demoralizing to see people get 15-19 (out of 20) grades while I sit here with my 8. And I need at least 9,5. Shiet...
Hell, I'm studying Sociology but we have Biology subject, but I can see it why it is related. XD
Thanks The_Nameless_Bard for the sig!

Figured, yeah; the language still sucks and is not a language people should be using as introduction to programming, imo. Although, that depends on your major I suppose, but unless that major is “Java Programmer”, I really would never advise starting with that language.

New and slightly improved version is still up to date >HERE!<

I started doing programming myself; with C/C++. After that I got Java in high school; dear God, I had the worst time.

I had no programming experience besides a little html/css before univeristy and learned java last semster. We will be starting c++ in the 3rd semster iirc. Java wasn't really hard(I either understood it better than 90% of everyone else or nobody did anything, I am not sure which one is truer), but after one semster I obviously still don't really know anything beyond basic stuff.
I am not sure if I am right about this one, but to me it seems like you will know a bit of Python and pretty much nothing about C and java after next semester.

Thanks to IPodPulse for this <3^

Yeah, E did 280 base at rank 6, whereas
pretty much every intrduction level university course I know of starts with jave, that's why I asked
