Uhh well my desk has a keyboard tray which is where the keyboard is, and the mouse is above the tray, where my monitor and speakers and etc are.
As for why the mouse isn't next to the keyboard on the tray (which is normal apparently???), I don't know. This is just how it was before I even had my own computer, and I got used to it. When I try playing using a PC where the keyboard and mouse are on the same level, I keep bumping the mouse into the keyboard.
