This was a great guide and had lots of insight as to why AD Evelynn can be better than AD (winrates don't lie xd) I was wondering if you do something as comprehensive as this for when she gets reworked very soon (I think she's coming out on the 9th or 10th of October?), as well as the new runes and stuff being released. I really hope that you can make another guide on Evelynn and its a shame that AD Evelynn is not viable soon ;'(. Love your work! Keep it up <3

What do you think of the Evelynn rework? Do you think it will change how she's played drastically? If so, based on the gameplay out, how do you reccomend playing the new Evelynn?

Hello

Now edge of night and knief doesnt have magic resist and speed buff anymore, i wonder if replace edge of night by Yoummu (+40 speed now) is better?

Hey I noticed you don't really have a recommended AP build for Evelynn, I was wondering if you can give me a few tips, as I am not very good mixing items together myself

Nice guide. I won many games with it.

What do you think of "Duskblade" on Evelyn AD. I personally think its passive synergize well with Evelyn invisibility, and true damage is a nice addition to the damage can dish out with your build. And the out of combat movement spd buff is good for ganking as well.

Hello, i was testing out the farming order and wondered if you had to have a leash for the frog thing, i found it difficult killing the Blue buff after the frog and keep dieing so didn't get far, Is it because of updates making it less possible to do this or should i take a life steal item? thank you :P

I would believe it would be harder to take blue buff after the frog. I thought I had updated this part of the guide a while back during the jungle changes but to my dismay it seems that update never saved or went through. I will be updating it soon and I apologize for any false information that I had listed in my guide before. I would start blue and then go gromp and wolves, etc. This should make your jungle clear easier!!

Personally, I (playing in low ELOs) grab a Hunter's Machete on the offchance I don't get a leash. If I don't get a leash, I start on Gromp because he hits less hard and I can keep pace without blowing a potion or two and with only one ability. If I get a leash, I'll start blue buff and I'm good.

Hi, just wanted to give another feedback on your build

First of all, I really want to thank you again because thanks to you I got my main back and have so much fun with it. 90% of my games are with ad eve, I just love this playstyle that I couldn't find with ap eve

Now I got a few remarks :

I feel like tytanic hydra can be replaced in some cases. At least, it's not essential to rush it every time. When you're ahead or need to burst down squishies really fast and don't take in much damage, I feel like the trinity rush is better. Each item used to build it gives you a huge power spike, which helps a lot to snowball. Also when you rush trinity, the hydra often becomes less useful and gets replaced by other situational items. However even in such cases, this item's still a must have if you need for instance to splitpush (ad eve is so good at this when she has hydra). So yeah it's situational and I still rush it like 3 out of 4 games, but maybe the "build those items in this order" part of your guide needs a bit more thought

Also, at first I was only building swiftness boots like you. But then I started to go only for mercuries and tabis. And tbh, I find them far better. The extra ms of the swiftness isn't that useful, especially once you've got your phage procs. Also, defensive boots allow for extra early tankiness, which saves more lives than swiftess boots get you extra kills or save your ***, and which also allows for different building paths (if you're more tanky, you need less to rush the hydra)

As for the jungle route, I'm 100% convinced that starting at krugs is way better than at gromp. Firstly, the buff works amazingly well with eve's E. It makes the jungle way easier than with gromp's, and allows for faster scuttles. Also, blue buff is kinda useless on you with your passive, meaning that you're doing it essentially for the golds/xp anw won't really benefit from it whereas you take a risk to get your red buff stolen (which is an essential buff in early game, unlike the blue one). But most of all, lv 3 eve with red buff gives the most amazing early ganks, she's a first blood machine. Your route makes early ganks pretty hard to set up, which is a shame given the champion's potential

Also, a last remark : I'm not convinced that the health pots are better than the refillable pot. I usually back after the first 3 camps + a gank + another few camps if the gank didn't get me low life, which is pretty much the same as you. The 3rd extra pot would kinda never serve me before my first back, in most situations it would make no difference at all. So for a lesser price (since you can resell the item later) I can get free pots every time I go back, and still have an early game as good as yours with a refillable pot

Thanks for reading :)

I can agree with your first statement. I feel you are right that sometimes you don't have to rush it, but usually I do (which i will tie into something else in a bit). I also change up my boots as well. I like the swiftness though because you really have no way to slow the enemy unless you use your ult. This extra MS allows you to catch up, and since you have Dark Frenzy (W) to escape slows and such, you don't really need the reduction for slows. Referring to tabis, I build a decent amount of armor, so i feel as if I would rather be able to catch my enemy then survive his amount of hits, as most players flee since they didn't expect Evelynn. This is obviously all play style preference but I can definitely see where you come from. As for your jungle route suggestion, I somewhat disagree...but once again it all is based on play style. I don't really like ganking a ton at early levels because at that point I am trying to farm up. I go Blue Buff first because I always feel like I run out of mana during my clear since I use Dark Frenzy (W) to get around quicker. I've tried both paths several times and for me it just seemed to work out much better if I started Blue Buff. I'm an old time jungler who doesn't want to evolve to the new ways xD. For me, I feel like i can always find a way to use that health pot. I never seem to use the refillable potion after my 2nd back, so for me its kind of a waste.

I really appreciate your feedback and advice. Sorry it took me so long to respond, as I have been busy trying to learn and write about other champs while working on an upcoming website. Thanks again and I'm glad to hear that my guide helped you!
