Hey hey all! Extremely new to MOBAFire here like minutes ago, had been recommended to come here for builds and more information.

So I wanted to start a discussion upon loving the role of Jungle.

I have loved the role since starting league and could not wait until I was a high enough level to get the Summoner Spell, Smite.

I started off as some easy and not so easy Jungle's and still to this day am amazed as most of the champions in League have been able to Jungle or at least the interesting type of Champions that have been taken Jungle.

My favorite has to be my currently most played; Volibear. I love everything about him, I've started to learn his flaws but it also means I acknowledge them too and means I can play him better too.

The thread I started is me is wanting to know what YOU take when you Jungle, your champions choice, your routes, Item choices, when you think its best to take Rift Herald/Baron/Dragons, what you like to do for the team being a Jungle and what is your most recommended Jungle for ranked and why?

Thank you for your time and I hope to discus this further with you all soon!

Peace!

The best junglers currently are junglers that can carry out of the jungle while being fairly tanky. For me, Cho'Gath fits that category perfectly but there are many more junglers, like Volibear for example. But my build for Cho'Gath changed lately a bit, I build him as a full tank now and only rely on his absurd base damages to deal the damage, but I combine it with a lot of CC from items to make his spells more reliable.

One sleeper champion atm that nobody plays is in my eyes Vi. She hasn't been used for a long time and things around her have changed to positive. She can combine items to have an absurd percentage damage at enemies, shredding through everyone not caring about their tankyness. The build I recommend here:
Skirmisher's Sabre - Bloodrazor, Black Cleaver, Blade of the Ruined King, full tank. This build combined with Denting Blows shredds through every armor, has good CDR, good AS and strong percentage damage. And you still keep the ability to get close to carries with your ultimate, but you no longer have to since you just shredd through all those armor stacking top laners.

My most beloved Wildcard, not really fitting into the meta list, is jungle Twisted Fate. A recent play of Lulu jungle by FNC Spirit showed, that ranged junglers kiting is still a thing and can be abused and Twisted Fate was the first champion ever to abuse that competetively (IEM San Jose 2014 UoL vs TSM game 1 Kikis). He has a faster clear than Lulu due to his bonus attack speed on E, has with Red Card after completing Skirmisher's Sabre a good sustain to permanently jungle, gains bonus gold for every camp, can gank easily at level 2 or even at level 1 if needed and has post 6 one of the best global pressures. The only downside from him is the lack of tankyness, but as Kikis demonstrated back in time, you can go mostly defensive and still deal a lot of damage with your autos.

Wat, pretty sure Nidalee and Kindred are the best.

Welcome to MOBAFire. First thing you need to learn, there are two types of people around here: those who take NicknameMy seriously and those who don't. While I do admire his theory crafting, sometimes it can get pretty silly. I'd totally advise you to play normals if you're trying out his builds.

Now, as far as META junglers go, it's pretty much Nidalee and Kindred like the Bard said (also Graves, but he has lost a bit of his fan base, lol). They are somewhat complex to play, so yeah, it might take a while to do well with them. Also, pretty much every tank jungler stomps at lower elos, like Volibear or even Nautilus.

Have fun.

Oh man i'm all about Ekko jungle. Super fun, versatile champ. Bit of a learning curve but once you understand his mechanics he can make game changing plays, has great ganks even at level 3, and remain relevant through out all portions of the game.

This is the build i use. try him out!
