I love this guide and have returned to it from time to time but it seems like masteries are gone now. Do i remember correct when i say jungler was usin stormraiders?

Hey pogenmarkus! I updated the masteries, they removed the old ones and that's why they were gone. You are correct though, Stormraiders is an option as a jungler (but keep in mind that Thunderlords is also really good, it really depends on your playstyle :D). Try them both out and see what works for you!

when faced with a 2v2 (as in, ally jg with you against enemy with enemy jg), when the enemy has more hp than you and the ally jg is expecting an ult, when is the appropriate time to ult? or do i not ult at all? in one of my recent games using wukong, i got told that i ulted too early in said scenario.

Tell them they are noob and report your jungler! It really depends on the situation, sometimes its better not to go in at all!! It's all up to situation, dw more games you play the more you will understand

i saw the build and i tried it and it helped me a lot actually but Khazix was in the wrong place at threats he just killed me in less than 5 seconds IDK how but he did it so please edit that out and put Khazix at high threat

isn't too much of a threat because in lane (I presume) he relies on his passive (isolation) to do a good amount of damage, play within your minions to prevent isolation and prevent as much damage as possible.

These Match Ups are based on my personal experience from play in many many games :). Some will need some editting, but shouldn't be too high :D.

Hey Achan, I started playing back in season 4 and trust me when I say this, I was trash. The first champion i fell in love with was Wukong and now here in season 6 I have picked him up again! I'm carry most games i play and its very entertaining to smash whoever im laning . So now i have a question: is it better to have 9 flat AD runes or to have 9 Armor pen runes? or is better to have a mix of both? i have tried both straight 9 AD and 9 Armor pen and i noticed haveing a mix of both is more effiecnt. i feel like more games nowawdays especially in ranked go over 25 minutes and having the eztra armor pen can really help against tanks. so i m thinking 7 AD runes and 2 armor pen runes or 7 Armor pen runes and two ad runes. what do you think?

Here is a quick answer for you: Don't mix AD and Armor Pen together, just pick one and stick with the full 9.

9AD = Less burst damage (very very minimal difference), but is easier to cs under tower and just in general

9ARMOR PEN = More burst damage (like I said, a very small difference). Can be useful.

Conclusion: It really comes down to preference, choose one you FEEL like you perform better with :)

Hello! I'm a low elo (silver) main wukong! I wanted to know what's the best way to use youmuu's active in a 1x1 duel. In this ocasion, when both enemies commit to a fight, I won't use youmuu to engage or escape (at first). Am I to pop it and fight, then ult, or ult first and then use it (or none of those)?

In a normal occasion I would E (first, if I need to get close), AA, Q, Ult and sometimes use W for my cooldowns, so I don't know where to place the youmuu's active...

Hey there CoconutTree! (I was bronze before so I can't say much XD, we all start somewhere).

There are many scenarios and don't worry, the more you play with Ghostblade the better understanding you get. I'll go through all the scenarios I can think of right now:

S1 Sneak Attack (1v1): Sometimes an invisible is the best . Okay that made no sense.. uhh. Make sure you are in the fog of war and walk towards your enemy, activate and then immediately after then hit E > AA > Q >? Ult <-- If needed. And bam, that champion should be dead (unless you know, they are fed)

S2 Up close (1v1): This one is simple, you are up close in a 1v1 and you want to maneuver to dodge, confuse, or even panic the enemy. This is what you do, either you use and OR if you feel like you don't need to/ is on cooldown just activate . This method is especially useful against champions like , , where dodging that skill shot can change the whole of the fight.

S3 Catch up (1v1): You need to catch up to use E, activate . You are mid ult and they try to run via methods like , , activate for the extra boost.

S4 Need that extra AA (1v1 Very Rare): Never really need to do this, it's more of a clutch move. Basically you are very low, he/she is very low all of your abilities are on cooldown and you have nothing to do but autoattack each other. Activate . Those extra hits can save your life.

S5 Oh **** (1v1): You are trying to 1v1 to prove your dominance and their jungler/mid laner/bot lane come to gank you. So the plan with this one is TURN AROUND ACTIVATE AND THEN RUN. When they can't get you spam laugh or champion mastery :P.

S6 Going in (1v5): You are the last one alive, it's 6 hours in the game with 2 day death timers and they are pushing down mid. Go base, get homeguards, run to the enemy (activate ), then E >? AA <-- If you have time > Q > R. PENTAKILL!!!! Or you know, maybe not.. op amirite?

A good summary if none of that made sense:

is good for sneak attacks!
is great to escape!
is amazing to engage!
is a great item for the game of catch up!
is op!
actually kinda is op on
is an AD item
, yeah I'm running out of things to say. Best advice: buy use it a lot, even when you don't want to. Learn.

But... Why would I pop youmuu's if I'm going to ult? I already gain movement speed to stick to my opponent (considering an usual meele 1x1 fight on top). I mean, while ganking mid, or surprising, or picking off an enemy, I see it's usage. But on a 1x1? Could you explain me? I thought that I would either delay the ult or the youmuu active, not using both at the same time.

Here, I'll let you in on a secret: I honestly don't use much in close up 1v1 situations unless I am doing this:

S2 Up close (1v1): This one is simple, you are up close in a 1v1 and you want to maneuver to dodge, confuse, or even panic the enemy. This is what you do, either you use Decoy and Youmuu's Ghostblade OR if you feel like you don't need to/ Decoy is on cooldown just activate Youmuu's Ghostblade. This method is especially useful against champions like Lee Sin, Ezreal, Yasuo where dodging that skill shot can change the whole of the fight.

Because sometimes you need that extra movespeed to dodge tornado from .

Another snowbally use is if you are walking back to lane and you KNOW for sure you can kill him or at least get a , just go HAM. They usually don't expect it, pop and E > AA > Q >? > .

But here is the answer you are probably looking for: In a true 1v1 situation you usually don't need to use it because you should be able to burst them down enough (because you're not going tank right ._.?) with your hard AD items. Their screen should turn black and gray in a few seconds.

Let me give you a visual and explanation: is an assassin. Utilize the clone wisely and you should be fine. But you never see an assassin use in the middle of a 1v1. For example, players buy a lot. They either use it before/during their ult to catch people in surprise and ONE SHOT THEM. doesn't increase burst like or the old death fire grasp. Its uses on a AD assassin are basically for the movespeed buff. So to conclude, you don't need to use it in a 1v1 because it is pretty much usless in the situation. In a 1v1 there are minimal scenarios where you really need to use it at all. Just one shot them like every other assassin!

Yeah, I play him full AD, building some "tanky" itens towards the end, mostly to help me against teamfight bursts. Well, so it's ok to build Tiamat and then finish Youmuu? It gives aditional burst. I usually delay Hydra and rush another itens.

I mean, if I'm in a hard spot, I will not rush Tiamat anyway because I'd like to freeze the lane...

It is definitely okay to build and build other items before you finish it! If you feel you don't need the upgraded then grab a and start snowballing!

And that's very smart, freezing is a great tool although hard to master.
(Tip: Freezing lane is also very very effective when ahead to put the enemy behind)

No no no, it's my pleasure really.

1: If you feel like you don't need the lifesteal then you can skip it.
2: You are roaming around a lot to help your team snowball.
3: It can be used as a snowballing item IF used correctly and efficiently, so you can rush if you want to do that.

That's basically all I can think of but I am sure there are other reason that just have not come to my mind yet :).

have a lot of usage for pretty much all AD users; ask for example, I can give you a whole wiki xD
