Hey,
now where Strenght of the Ages was removed, what do you think are good masteries for Kindred?
I am quite new in League (just playing a few month) and I were looking for a Kindred Guide, because I want to main her. Yours looks pretty nice to me, but now I dont know what to do with the masteries.

Hey, love the guide! It's really been helping me win early game. I've had a lot of trouble being relevant late game though, no matter how many stacks I have. I even had 14 one game, and even with my ult, GA and a Kayle support I couldn't do anything to the enemy. I even used my Q backwards, ulted, and then flashed forward so they couldn't be in the circle and I could keep attacking. I still went down. How can I be relevant late game? I put out all the damage I can but peoples tankiness and healing and shields just make me useless.

Also, do you think there's anywhere where I could fit in a phantom dancer or shiv? For the added movespeed, so people can't just walk away from me with a Sona E or a Nami heal.

I have some questions about your guide. First of all I know that you focus on making kindred tanky but at the same time to deal damage but I dont understand why you build them so different of the rest of the pro players. To begin with, pros dont ever use SotA, they go straight to FoB. Also, most players tend to build either malmortious or yoummu. I am a main Kindred and I have tried your build but to be honest I cant get the good early as using FoB and the pro players builds. I only get BorK if the other jungler has been taking my early marks. Also I want your opinion in something, I get sterak gage as third item if I have marks, no threatening ap from the other team and if im behind, what do you think of this? I always take runaan as fourth item because it gives me great wave clear and I can split push af. Do you think lord dominik is a great item on kindred or its passive is enough? Also I know why you take trinity since you explained it but again, this item is mostly never used by pros. What do you think of bloodthrister instead of angel? Im not saying your build doesnt work, I just want to know your opinion since you have much more experience in lol than me.

Hey! No worries for the questions I don't mind answering them at all.

All three trees have pros that use them on Kindred (FoB, TL, SotA). Korean pro, Longzhu Crash (arguably one of the best junglers in the world), almost always takes SotA. FoB is popular amongnst NA players I think mostly because of the NA Ego, as everyone wants to be the carry. Stastically, SotA is also the best choice with more than a 3% higher win rate. As guides are meant to help new players and assure victory I wanted to add in the easiest of the three to use, however all three are possible and very occasionally I will switch them (say I have an extremely tanky team and not a lot of DPS then I will go FoB). As for TF it's still a good pick and a lot of the Korean pro's still use it, however I am running test now to see the difference between builds, (I am strongly considering going Runaan's into a black cleaver). Itemazation changes almost every single patch and I haven't completely updated it for this patch yet but I will today so stay tuned :) also I would never take BT over angel unless I was significantly far ahead and had almost no possibility of losing and just wanted to end the game faster. SG just isn't worth it to me no matter the situation. LD is a great item but like I said i might be switching it up later today. Let me know if you have anymore quetisons :)

Thanks for the advises. Yeah, I take FoB because I want to be the carry. I have learned a lot from RedKind a main Diamond Kindred that streams, check his youtube channel to learn a thing or two... I used to take SG because pros used to take it in the LCK but I almost always go with malmortious or yoummu if I had a great early. I think Runaan is the item I enjoy more and lord dominik if there are 2 or 3 tanks. Lately koreans are taking black cleaver but personally I dont think it is too good, I think is more a situational item. I personally dont like TF since many people say it is too expensive but I think it depends on how each person plays. Im still testing your machete and boots as your first item choice

i like your guide , i've been trying to come back to kindred , i stoped because of those unbearable nonsense nerfs and i think your guide will really help me , i have some questions though , have you considered stearks, black cleaver, frozen mallet, phantom dancer(not a full build , as individual items ) ? it sounds weird i know but ive been seeing a lot of kindreds with it lately just wanted your opinion , your mastery sections show fervor of battle , but you say that STA is better. why is that?
i hope i didnt get confusing in this comment

It's always fun to see how people are passionate. Your guide is very good and I very appreciate the way you explain not only how to play Kindred, but also how to play Jungle. It doesn't change the fact that I hate playing jungle. By cons Kindred is still my favorite champions for many reason and i'm really sad they remove her Healing passive on her W, because it allowed me to play her in mid, my main lane, and i never lost a lane with her in mid, because of her sustain and the bonus damage it was giving. I'v also made a guide about Kindred mid, but i archive it because it's no longer a good option.
I know i already said it but your guide is very well done!

Thank you so much :) I really appreciate it! The fact that you played kindred mid successfully is actually really impressive! Stay tuned as I update and make new guides and I hope you enjoy them as much as you liked this one :)

this guide is really something else! haha! question though...i need tips on improving my kiting skills as i cant really time kindred's attack animation..any advice?

Zula Warrior (6) | September 13, 2016 3:40pm
Kiting is probably one of the most misunderstood and poorly executed Mechanic in the game. I actually coach quite a lot of people on how to do it properly for a good amount of time before they have it completely down. It's not too difficult as kindred because you have slows/hops, however, it's still comes down to your basic orb walking and using abilities between auto attacks. Some General tips I can give you are learning to use attack to click move and orb walking in general. The greater your attack speed the faster you have to orb walk. If I saw you do it live I could help you more, but without that it's difficult for me to give you an exact answer on what and how you specifically need to improve on.

Great Guide! Thanks again man for taking the time to teach me counter jungling techniques, shot calling, and overall game flow on Kindred. If you haven't played with Zula, i'd highly reccomend doing so. Later buddy.

i find building botrk takes too long when you can spend more gold on more useful items, like runaans or ghostblade

Hello! I was wondering is steraks gage would work in place of guardian angel.
1
Zula Warrior (6) | August 22, 2016 7:41pm
Not really, They are very different items made for very different things. Gage isn't going to stop you from dying as much as GA will. Another thing about SG is that it provides only health and no defenses, other than the shield (but that's really just like more HP, a lot of times with SG and kindred people will use their ult when their shield goes off and waste the shield. On top of that, SG doesn't stack with Maw if you build them together anymore. Those are just some of the reasons I kept the item off of my build.

hm,is there any room for lord dominiks in this build?

You almost spent more effort advertising duolegends than writing the guide. Duolegends is basically a eloboosting site but avoids touching that grey area and they instead call themselves a duoQ service that helps with coaching.

Duolegends is the kind of site that removes negative feedback and only use sellout comments from vague "happy customers". Let's leave that aside though.

I'm kinda sceptical of your challenger rank. Good job if you did it on your own but you were gold 2 seasons ago, platinum a season ago and now you're challenger + advertising a boost site. Just raises an eyebrow, could be legit though, I don't know.

Dead Man's Plate is also questionable even with the explanations you have given. Black Cleaver is a better item for the purposes you have explained, no matter what.

Downvoted, changing it to upvo...Coming soon...

Have u ever played kindred u scrub? how is dead mans plate not good for kindred, when u get most of kindred's kills from chasing people down, what if it actually improves your game play?
Why u gotta be jealous about people rank? u act like u know all the challengers that ever existed in LOL and Riot sends you an email when new people become challengers. Your probably jus hating on this guy cause he got to challenger and your still in D2. gosh man get a life and just try this guys guide out to see for yourself if it works before you sit here and try to bring someone else down.
for all we know your prob afraid of this guys guide cause u made one, and your scurred that this guys guide will drive people away from yours. why else would u try so hard to hate on someone?

First of all, what's with the insults? I don't think Joxuu insulted anyone, so it's really unnecessary.

Second, if you get most kils from chasing people, Frozen Mallet is a superior choice, not to mention that you won't waste gold on stats you're not going to use. Besides, Kindred aleready is pretty mobile, making Frozen Mallet a superior choice (since, as you probably know, DMP's Momentum is expended on the first hit, making it a terrible item for chases).

And I don't really care what rank guide authors are. If their guide is good, awesome. If it has questionable choices (like this one),then they better be damn well explained, which is something DMP lacks over here. Hell, if this was a Challenger Heimerdinger guide that advertised Infinity Edge I'd be like WTF.

And finally, we're giving our most honest opinion. I understand that it might be hard for some people to take it (like you for instance),but don't bash people for it. Have YOU tried DMP on Kindred before coming here to lick people's arses? No? Because I haven't seen a single pro do it either. If it's so good, how come they don't use it?

Get a grip, man.

I dont really understand how you can compare Duolegends with a regular eloboosting service tbh.. As far as I know is the point of elo boosting that you just get boosted and have not enough skill yourself to play in there. But wit Duolegends its the idea that you gonna duoQ with a high elo player and he is going to give a lot of good tips and with the premium version they even record it and watch all small points back.. I for example learned like that a lot of things about jungle and things I did wrong, that I never knew.

Do you honestly think people who want to improve with the help of a coach would go to a duoQ site where someone plays in the game and at the same time tries to coach the duoQ partner?

Even if you pay extra for some kind of a playback, there's plenty of actual legit coaches for free/for payment who soloely focus on helping the guy out by analyzing the gameplay sent to them. How is a "coach" supposed to analyze a game where the coach goes 30-0 and carries everyone? The guy who requested the coaching wouldn't get a proper view of his own potential to carry. Like why would anyone go to a duoQ site for coaching when the site seems shady? Are you able to see the coaches names or see any credibility - no.

The only "credibility" they have is comments added by their own developers to the front page saying "wow was gold. now I win easily vs diamonds" and their nameless coaches who claim to be diamond 1+. Why wouldn't someone just ask an actual pro/ex pro or verified coach with much experience?

Anyone using the site for coaching is going there for eloboost - except few who are tricked into believing they're getting a review from actual good coaches.

I'm sorry you feel that way. The vast majority of time I spent writing the actual content (gameplay) of the guide :) And about my rank on this account two seasons ago this was a smurf of mine. I actually have another account on Mobafire "ZulaWarrior" that you can see has Diamond 1 Rank before Master Tier was even created (and master tier this season), also the majority of my games in challenger are solo, some people are always skeptical about challengers' rank even when I log in and win a challenger game right in front of their eyes (we're not celebrities we're just normal people who try to do well in league of legends).

Black cleaver isn't the better item because it provides you zero armor, and less health. The point of this build is to be tanky while still doing an immense amount of damage, Black cleaver just doesn't provide enough tankiness. If I were making this a build to be like the rest of the Kindred build's that are very squishy then yes I would build a black cleaver, but 300 HP with zero defenses isn't what I (nor anyone else) would consider tanky.
And apologies for all the coming soons, its a work in progress, I plan on finishing this weekend. I actually have most the content written just need to format it still. Let me know if you have any more questions about build/rank/site I can help ya out :)
