I decided to finally quit scouting with my age group (still leading children) a while ago for various reasons worth ranting about at the time which I had decided to cope with for way too long. Now my Friday evenings are without annoyances and in fact *more* busy (in a good way) and fun than when I had scouting. Reminded me of the Settling xkcd:
