Thanks for giving a feedback, I'm currently trying to find a viable build but yet not sure If my classical go to go build against AD's would work for everyone-, so by saying a strong build- I'm not sure if your mentioned weak build was which I was going to recommend or not, but I'm thinking on it to how to add to that to guide, item sections?

But for sure, I want to firstly answer your question as quick as possible because I don't know when I can add a 'best performance build'' against AD compositions so- I would say, if you're against a lethality building Zed I would recommend Seeker's Armguard on first return since it gives a stacking AR+AP mix on kill scores, so in few minutes you can have total 45 armor from item a mere 1200 gold item by stacking it on minions, which will help you to mitigate some strong portion of damage like 20% in early stages while it will be blocking at least 1-2 lethality item's lethality stat to avoid insta-deaths, then I could recommend you to go Hextech Rocketbelt which I'm currently doing against AD's, then perhaps Ninja if they're AD's while they have few auto based champions as well, which also reducing on-hit effects by 10% as well like it would work against Yasuo or even Kayle because she's dealing mixed damage while her items that are based on on-hit damages, after taking those items, Rylai's Crystal Scepter or/and Liandry's Torment to have 15 flat penet., with a mix of good HP and AP stats to fulfil lack of damage because of defensive tendencies, then you may head to Rabadon's Deathcap or such items to create a cliff between your damage and your opponents damage in 1v1, of course after completing Zhonya's Hourglass since it gives pretty elegant CDR stat alongside with a unique active then you may head for Void or such items, or if they still have some strong damage or you need basically sustain and HP you may head for Visage, you may head to Thornmail in case all of them are full of AD's without any true damage or such, it gives pretty decent healing reduction and damage in return against AD since they will not be able to kill you without getting damaged by Thorn, it can be considered as an aggressive choice against most on-hit full of AD teams, with those 2 basic items you will achieve nearly 150 armour which is mitigating damage like 60%, far more defensive than classical build, I'm not sure if that would be considered as 'cross the line'' situation to build more armour items, but using Randuin and such items need even more rare situations like they have a critical damage dealer mage in mid and crit Yasuo at solo, so it will give chunk of defensive stats against them, if your team has already more than few damage dealers you can accept being more aggro draw like, and gold will be mostly saved if situational items are built on point.

So you shouldn't be always building many defensive items, because in equivalent you're losing an alternative aggressive choice like Rabadon- which can add nearly 300 AP in a good AP build, meanwhile taking Rabadon won't make much difference in a 5 Def 1 AP build, so you may run out of slots and I could recommend Ninja and Seeker thing for most of the times since professional players that I was following also were building in mostly something like that order and I could say that's the optimum way to build armor in early games, and taking more can disturb the optimal build- and can retain you from dealing forbidding amounts of damage if armor thing is gone too far. You shouldn't be sacrificing for many items, because options are meant to built on point, for ex. against a Cassi Adaptive Helm basically gives you nearly 30% effective def against her, and then taking Spirit and such can prevent you from killing her, going even more resistance is unnecessary. Providing a balance is needed between your damage and your opponent's def or the opposite condition, is needed and you're a not primarily tank that defensive stat is needed on Vlad's gameplay to give sustain a real impact, , you can achieve a good def because how AR and MR works differently, you can pass an important degree of enemy MR because Void gives pen on total MR, which is having more Pen stat as game goes on, but your opponent's lethality will have less effect on you because you can neglect that lethality items's by building flat armour, and Lord Dominik's Regards will have less effect on you than you had against your opponent with Void Staff because Dominik pen works on 'bonus armor' which won't work wonders other than item's unique passive and a mere +50 AD. You can achieve many advantages over your enemy as in builds or sustain or damage, I might add a detailed section like advanced 'how to play' tips against AD's and such in future,

Hi, I was running on Hextech like something ordinary before the rework, having 75% spell vamp was both strong and funny, I mean go all in to 1v5 and use your E W, almost 2k HP is regenerated instantly with that much spell vamp, old Vlad was more of a spell spammer, and spell vamp was good but reworked Vlad is greatly benefiting from high ap and health stats, taking Hextech Gunblade for pure spell vamp alike effect is not that impactful in the meaning of regen, when you can basically build your usual spirit visage build to steal over 2k HP while having still good damage alongside with higher def stats.

So, perhaps I have hundreds of game so I'm sure I had a fair attitude towards Hextech, even with reworked Vlad, I had a certain discontent to even Hextech Rocketbelt and after many many matches my blood started to warm towards the belt because of taking that much stats at early stage of game was providing huge spike alongside with an active ability and CDR was so that 300HP and 60AP was actually useful when compared to the other starting possibilities it had more utility because of price, so basically I'm meaning I had a prejudice towards belt but not for Hextech Gunblade since its really a failure in most cases as an item for Vlad, because in many viewpoints Vlad does not in a situation that requires forces him to build for increased spell vamp, he already has that so claiming that I had a prejudice while writing these things wouldn't be too fair for me, so after trying Hextech Gunblade in example games, even that is redundant since that is not something to see through a glass darkly,
even if it worked better than most items at early, it will drastically fall off at late game, and having higher cdr is always a desired thing if still threatening enemy was still possible.

Actually 40 AD seems super effective at the early game- but in reality having delayed spells even for 1 secs. can be deadly for Vlad, and your a mage that has to deal spell damage for game's sake and for that 1 sec is invaluable when you can deal nearly 1k damage with overpowered Q, in the name of seriousness-

We shouldn't consider early advantage because of 40 AD, and HP items providing tonnes of damage and rocket is dealing more damage at closer distances I suppose, which are Vlad's thing.
you shouldn't go with that most of times, you can even win with a troll like BOTRK build on Vlad, but we supposed to speak about performance builds that had to work in most games and another example of why we should avoid building Hextech Gunblade is almost every mid laner has some sort of power spike item for a cheap price, and for example; Kata is getting stronger by both AP and AD and Hextech Gunblade provides her with a strong sustain alongside with Rabadon alike power spike due to the usefulness of both stats on her.
So that can be said for Vlad too, he benefits from AP and HP so you should avoid half effective stats on him.

Thanks for the pointing that out!, And thanks again for reading guide, with that reconsideration I think we valorized the actual worthiness of item better, since items section was a bit unclear for gunblade, however, if you have your questions still feel free to ask, as I'm trying to give realistic answers since I was also another prejudiced player about builds, to be honest I'm always every day seeing wrong played Vladys which is the not best scene as you can imagine, but when it comes to building, its more of preference matter since I have tried many builds like, mask and things, and it seems everyone has its advantages and disadvantages, however, It would be hard to mention certain things about it, we need the go with minimal negatives I think ^^
