Having a bit of trouble stringing 2 ranked wins in a row at the moment.

Feel like it is a mix of perception and a communication issue.

The problems mostly arise when my laners aren't able to establish lane dominance which ties my hands somewhat.

-Ganking while my laners are low health with large minion waves under their turret is a bad idea
-Invading without lane pressure is a recipe for getting collapsed on

But if I'm not getting ganks that end up in kills, I'm getting **** like "jungler no puressure gg", "are you only going to farm?", "report jungler no ganks". Which is flipping tilting especially when I've been able to be successful in other aspects of the game such as vision control, counter jungling, and dive prevention.

Re perception

In my experience:

-Counterjungling does not register to laners as doing anything
-Getting vision counts for some, but you can't count on your team using it appropriately
-Dive prevention, while appreciated, doesn't count unless you trade for better than you were given

I'm rarely on comms with anyone in ranked since I primarily play solo.

I have had some success with Mid to Late game shot calling via chat. Baron if the enemy jg is spotted Bot late gate game. (for this reason I won't even go Bot to clear a wave late game, trying to direct someone else there instead).

Which got me to thinking, okay maybe I need to work on my early game communication. What are you other junglers (or laners if you've seen things that work) trying to do/saying/pinging to try and sync yourself up with your laners in the early game especially when there are no clear gank opportunities?

It's not your job to impress your teammates or prove your worth to them. Don't seek their approval or listen to their calls unless you agree with their judgment. Don't be afraid to mute people who are being negative. It's much more reliable to train and rely on your own judgment to win games.

If you really want, you can try to explain your early game plan and say which lanes you expect to focus on. I rarely bother with this step so I can't really speak for its success.

If you really want to gain the trust of your teammates, the easiest way is just to play clean and get kills. People don't care about your reasons for not ganking their lane in laning phase, they're usually just mad and looking for someone to blame for losing their lane. The way to gain their cooperation is to be like 7/0 by mid game and to start making calls. Most people will follow calls by the person who's winning the game.

TL;DR: Mute teammates and just play well. No matter what jungler you're playing, you can improve your level of play to the point where minor communication issues don't matter.
Thanks to Fatelblade for the sig!

Appreciate the suggestions, PsiGuard. Will work on upping my game so I can drag my teammates along with me.

I should also say I have tried explaining my early game jungle plan. E.g. Hey Riven after Red I will gank for you if you aren't too pushed up. Finish Red. And the Riven has their laner pushed into their turret. So much for my plan to gank. Drop ward between enemy Blue and Gromp and kill the blast plant so Riven should have some warning if the enemy jungler tries to make a play on her.

That sort of thing has happened consistently enough that I stopped trying to explain my early plan.
