Hiyo,
New player here (as in started like last week & Im currently at level 10). I finally found the character I wanna main as (Vi kicks so much *** in top lane I love her so much~). I'm thinking I wanna start a youtube channel where I can post maybe 1 - 2 plays a week and help other newbies learn from my mistakes & successes. I also figure it'll be a good way to find other people to play with aside from the guy whose teaching me (he's great, but we have very different work schedules & he's not always available to play when I am). My goal (like everyone else) is to get to lvl 30 and play ranked games. I love writing essays and stuff too, so once I understand the game better and actually know what I'm doing I'm interested in exploring topics to write further on.

Anyway, do you guys have suggestions for a Youtube channel that's from the perspective of a newbie player? I know there's a possibility of getting a lot of harassment but I think it'll be a valuable resource for other new players. (I haven't set any thing up yet, still trying to figure out the logistics and how it's going to be set up as a whole).

From what I'm reading, you want to get better at League of Legends and in the proces help other people as well. This sounds interesting, and I think it can help a lot of people if done correctly. There is, however, a risk, which is that you give viewers wrong instructions. If I were you, I'd simply record a game you thought was interesting and using a replay go over what you did right and what you could've done better.

Thanks to myself for the signature ^^

I kinda take instructions more as suggestions and try out things according to my playstyle. There was a build guide for Vi, which had a lot of aspects that worked well for my play style but others that didn't so I've adjusted her item set accordingly. It's a lot of trial & error but I'm having fun experimenting. I do use the replay feature a bit, but I'm thinking I'd like to have more of a library to choose from when watching my previous plays than what replay offers. Since it'd end up creating a full library of videos for me anyway, that's why I thought it'd be interesting to upload my favorite games of the week and post every Monday / Sunday. It'll take up a lot of storage but LoL is quickly taking up a lot of my time already soo.... I'm kinda ok with that. lol.

Penita's suggestion is quite good. Not very many people enjoy watching a full replay, especially of a newish player. Making a compilation of mistakes/triumphs/fun moments would be more interesting, I think.

Ah, so what you guys are saying is to go through and trim things up a bit so that the best & worst moments are highlighted in the replay?
