i think the better skill order is Q - E - W.
instead of just saying it, i will explain.
E scond gives you enough damage to 1-shot people without ult or charm once you have lichbane,
however many people think W second is good (including u) but the W max is magic resist overkill most of the times and the extra range isnt nearly as usefull as you think it is.
The base charm duration on rank 1 w is also enough to get your entire combo off, so anything else is just unnecesarry.
Tell me ur though about it.
Foreveryone else its no flame and he is not "wrong" in his guide.
Compare that 100 magic damage to the 400 range, 4s cooldown, 10% MR shred and double charm duration from maxing W. Maxing W also gives you 200 more damage against monsters (not a huge deal but it's a nice bonus).
You can max E second and still perform fine, but I don't really feel it adds much kill potential. In most cases I either heavily overkill my targets or they have enough health and MR that I can't reliably one-shot them without W anyway. The edge cases of needing less than 100 damage to secure a kill don't seem equal to the benefits of the W range, duration, cooldown and shred.
This is only half-true. You can get the majority of your damage off within 1 second, but you can't get all 4 Qs off plus empowered
In many cases I'll use W on an enemy frontliner/diver who tries to engage on my team so I can CC them once they've committed to fighting. In cases like that, the extra second of charm isn't wasted at all.
First of all, if you're having trouble with
If it's early counter-jungling you're having issues with. Try starting at one of your buff camps (with a leash) and then immediately rush to the other one and clear it as quickly as you can. If you can secure both buffs, it's not as bad if you have to give up a small camp since you can just go elsewhere (maybe to the enemy jungle) and make up that lost farm. Evelynn isn't the greatest duelist, so if your allies can't collapse on the enemy jungler, you'll often need to retreat from direct fights early unless you have a health advantage.
If you're talking about general invades throughout the game, the solution is less simple but it gets easier the more vision you have. If the enemy jungler invades your side of the jungle (when you aren't present), you should take his camps if possible. If he invades you directly to contest a camp, then you fight if you have the support of your nearby laners or you retreat and give up the camp if you don't. Like with the early invades, you can try and find an enemy camp to steal instead. For example if the enemy jungler walks up to your raptors and takes it in front of you, you can try and walk around to his raptors and take them if they're up and he doesn't contest them. Sometimes you'll just lose a camp though, which isn't the end of the world.
The best thing you can do is place better vision. Deep stealth wards in the enemy jungle are a good way of seeing invades or ganks coming ahead of time. They'll also help you counter-jungle if the enemy jungler shows elsewhere on the map, since you'll know which camps are up. Buy
Hopefully some of that helps you. If I didn't address the problem you're having, just let me know and explain the situation a bit and I'll try to help. Unfortunately, Evelynn's a bit on the weaker side when it comes to fighting enemy junglers, so sometimes you just get bullied a bit early and have to make up for that deficit with well-timed ganks, especially after get lvl 6.
