I've taken a great liking to early game support Nidalee, and have been having alot of fun running her duo-bot with my friend and being a buff machine for him. After finding a video of someone running Klepto with her, and starting out with W, I've seen great success in early harassment and net-worth gain. My problem comes from what I can do in the mid-late game, as I feel I have no real peel for the carry, and I just melt if someone jumps on me.

Do you see viability with Klepto-boots-biscuit-tonic? Also, how can I be more useful as the game progresses?

I don't really see the viability of the Kleptomancy rune, at least not with the build I run. Between the mana regen from all the early Faerie Charm's and the healing from Primal Surge you're not exactly lacking in sustain. I really dislike Magical Footwear because I want to rush mobi boots to aid in roaming asap, the extra ms is nice tho once you actually get them. Any Nid rune page with inspiration should include Cosmic Insight I think.

As for late game: vision. That's in my opinion the key to a succesful Nidalee support. Because of your mobility you can absolutely dominate the vision game. Aim for vision scores of at least 100/hour. Also, your heal from E should be very potent mid/late game when combined with Athene's Unholy Grail. Other than that it is very contextual. Depending on the teamcomp, the state of the match, etc, you want to adapt your build to be as useful as possible: They have a healer? Morel for grievous wounds. We lack mobility? Shurel for mini-sivir-ult. Ashe constantly getting hooked by their Thresh? Mikael. Not enough damage? AP. Their Zed ults you instead of the ADC? Good, Zhonya. Etcetera.

Hope this helps :)

Any thoughts on a potential early tear for the extra poke harass and later seraphs embrace for the all in/beefiness?

It wouldn't be a bad choice I think, but I wouldn't. When building towards Athene's I make a point of getting the Faerie Charm's first. That way you usually end up with Frostfang + 2x Faerie Charm (and boots) on first or second back and you'll have plenty of mana (regen).

I recently made a Nidalee support guide myself.
We use relatively different builds as i go essentially full damage.
I actually find Nidalee support to be quite broken against some lanes (Ashe+Pyke, Kaisa+Pyke)and people just dont expect your damage. You can quite easily kill the adc once you have Lich Bane and when you combine that with healing and dark harvest it ends up quite unfair to the enemy especially if they cant dodge.

Always nice to meet another troll....I mean, another Nidalee support :D

Awesome dude, I'll check your guide out in a sec. Full damage Nid is indeed a great way to stomp botlane, but she can struggle vs Alistar, Draven...pretty much anyone who can keep you from jumping the ADC.

Never underestimate the off-meta supports, they will look for you, they will find you and they will kill you.

This is a good guide I think, I will ask my brother to read it and give his thoughts since he does this a lot.

Do you have streams on Twitch? I tried Nid support because she was on free rotation and now I'm stoked. Also I tried Leblanc support too but I think I need to watch a real person playing it.
