What do you think of building WARMOG'S first? Is it worth?

Not sure. You could potentially do Bami's Cinder into Warmog's Armor but haven't seen it/tested to see how strong it would be. In theory sounds really strong since you can't really be forced out of lane etc after completion, but you'll lack the resistances and your mythic's passive in return.

What do you think of building Faerie Charm in the laning phase, and upgrading it to Mikael's Blessing? It gives 50 MR + 20% Heal/Shield Power + 100% Base Mana Regen, removing CC for the carry or yourself when people try to interrupt your attempts to ult/run away/chase enemies.

Hello!

I'm not so sure if this is really an item Ornn wants, and it should be your supports duty to build this item, not yours. While mana regen and magic resistance are nice I feel that the heal and shield power just goes to waste, which isn't really something you want from an item. It could be extremely situational item in some cases, but I'd rather request my support to build it if the enemy comp has threats that require it.

Actually, Top Shen is building Redemption at the moment because of the Heal/Shield Power. If you take a look at my guide, the early laning phase for mana-hungry Ornn sound really great with Faerie Charm. I agree that Heal/Shield Power kinda goes to waste, but Mountain Drake's soul shield also increases with Shield Power. It can be a situational item with Unsealed Spellbook with Barrier or Heal. I'm pretty sure you'll still disapprove this build, but I've been building this when my team is leading, and it seems to work out. It seems to be a really good item against CC heavy enemy team comp, esp. against jungle champs like Morgana.

Hey, how are you doing? I was wondering if you have any spare time so I could help you out a bit regarding relevant informations, runes, builds, etc. around Ornn.

Hello I'm doing well. Sorry I haven't been online on this site in a bit so haven't seen your message. You can message me in priv to talk about this more if you are still up for it.

I will once I have more time. University is stressful and the situation with corona is also really awkward.

I'm planning to work on the matchup section at some point when I get more free time between streaming and work. When that happens I will add Sett to matchups.

Also, I don't exactly seem to like the inspiration runes, just because they're not my style, so do you think you could add another few runes choices, such as domination with sudden impact and other runes?
And also, maybe support runes for ornn, such as font of life.

PH45 (39) | May 28, 2020 6:22am
If the Inspiration tree isn't your style, experiment with it. This is my guide which reflects my personal preferences for a champion, hence me including only the options I'd really use most of the time (there are exceptions every once in a while). Domination tree isn't really that beneficial for Ornn as you don't do much with the penetration you get from Sudden Impact and in general the other trees are just better for Ornn. You could potentially go Precicion with Legend: Tenacity and Triumph or Presence of Mind or Sorcery with Manaflow Band and Transcendence.

You can go for Font of Life if you feel like you won't get value out of Demolish in lane phase.

Wait, so You upgrade abyssal mask and forgefire cape when using ornn right?
That's usually how I do it, I upgrade either of them, depending on the enemy if they're AP or AD, but if the enemy is mainly AP/AD, and I only build Abbysal/Forgefire, then what second item do I upgrade?
1
PH45 (39) | May 28, 2020 6:17am
Those 2 upgrades are probably the ones I go for most often. Frozen Fist is fine into AD fighters you can actually trade with a lot due to the Sheen proc, however Forgefire Cape is just a really good option since it gives you HP as well. If you want to go more supportive against AP then you have the option of going Circlet of the Iron Solari.

What's your opinion on Ornn's sitting in the game, right now? I haven't played a lot of him, maybe one or two times, since I don't play top that much so I was thinking of playing again. You think he can be a good pick?

PH45 (39) | August 30, 2018 11:17pm
Ornn has gotten quite a few nerfs after his release but overall I think he is still a good pick if your team needs a lot of CC as he can set it up. The thing is top is full of annoying matchups that can make Ornn's scaling a bit hard like Quinn etc. Then again the damage runes got nerfed so that helps a bit.

Definitely give him a go and see how you do. He takes a bit of practice to nail down the ult timing and stuff but the amount of CC he can actually dish out is pretty ridiculous. I haven't myself played him that much lately so I don't have exactly the best feel for how he is going to perform but imo he is a good pick still.

Despite learning how to deal with some ranged champions on Top like Teemo or Quinn, there are still certain matchups where you seriously can't do much, most notably Fiora, Darius and Kled. So far these three have been the most annoying opponents do deal with. Since Ornn is my main on Top since his release, I know what I am talking about. Overall he will always be a viable and very useful pick on Top due to his great CC and engage/disengage ult and the fact that he provides his teammates with stronger items. You can't actually do much wrong with picking Ornn. That's my opinion.
