Hello, is it still worth to take Celerity, since i dont get extra MS by boots? Will i still get MS by her E's?

Hello! For extra mobility it might be worth to take, but I am afraid, that I will need to update guide and put there Absolute Focus instead, since it gives you rough AP above certain percentage and since you have self-healing on W, you are mostly above that percentage, meaning that this rune perfectly fits in.

While this is interesting, I don't love your items. Going Tear Sona is fine, and so is Rabadon, but it seems a little silly to splash mana regen items like Athene's. If you're investing in Archangel's staff, why not just build straight mana since it'll become AP? You could also go the other way and go straight mana regen with Athene's, building utility items like Shurelya's, Redemption, and Ardent, and you'd get the same effect.

Basically, I think it seems silly to build mana regen AND straight up mana. It would probably be more efficient to min-max and just pick one, right?

Hello, thank you for your feedback!
You might find it silly and you are right, that having mana regen is pointless, but that's not the reason, why you want that item. Building Athene's is all about it's passive effect, that gives you extra healing, when you are dealing damage. That's all about that. You might not agree, but it's actually a lot of healing, that you receive by that, but as you might know, we all have different tastes.

Hey man, I would like to thank you so much for making this guide, I decided to try out the rune page you provided and the items that you recommended as well. I honestly never thought about buying a Tear on Sona until I read your build. I went 4/4/20 and got an S in the game that I played with this build. Also one more thing to note, I've always preferred to be more more pokey with Sona until I saw this build with you saying to max out W first. I do it all the time now, thank you so much for making this build. A lot of my friends now tell I'm a healing goddess LOL. Once again, tysm. <3

You've got some outdated references in your runes section ( Iron Skin and Mirror Shell don't exist anymore). Wouldn't Bone Plating or Chrysalis be good alternatives to Conditioning?

Alright, after all I decided to fix it straight away, even though I still want to go through this entire guide to see if there aren't more problems with it. but anyways thank you very much for pointing it out!

Hello, thank you very much for reminding me.
I am currently going through my guides (all of them) and I am trying to fix all outdated stuff that are in there (currently working on AP Kog'maw, who is right now at worst state probably).

Though, I can tell you straight away, that I would prefer Chrysalis, to get some early game hp, which would later on change into AP. But on the other hand, Bone Plating is better when facing some really bursty teams, so it's rather situational. But in general, you are totally right, that running conditioning is generally bad idea.

ok i am back nice to see your guide again but i have something that counters all assassins. it's an amazing item that goes by the name of Zhonya's Hourglass so you should most definitely be putting that there since it's mainly all assassin's in the mid lane and try to put Rod of Ages as well just since it gives damage as mana and mana spent gives health that's all that along with Seraph's Embrace is a match made in heaven but i'd suggest you tell people to rush for a Tear of the Goddess then rush Zhonya's Hourglass and Lich Bane since you'll want as much damage as possible early game to set yourself up for late game, just some simple suggestions don't take it to heart and think i am hating it's a good guide and you've done a good job <3 <3 <3

Thank you for your feedback!
At first, I would like to say, that I am not getting any feedback to my heart and I really do appreciate these kind of comments, because it helps me to improve my guide or possibly fix outdated things, because it's hard to keep everything in mind!

When I created this guide, pretty much no one was playing assasins, but you are right, that right now the situation is way worse and you simply need Zhonya's Hourglass, so I will make sure to add it in there. Rod of Ages looks like decent option, but I still prefer Archangel's Staff because of extra CDR, AP and in the end, if you use it's shield properly when you stack it up, it's nearly like to have extra health. For Lich Bane part - I understand that it's really good item, which I tried multiple times myself, but sadly it doesn't really fit into my build. This Sona build is focused around healing/supporting and I am afraid, that if you want to run Lich Bane, there are better builds/runes for it. Simply you want to have Redemption or Ardent Censer for extra healing, then you need ward item, then you need Athene's Unholy Grail for extra healing and you need that Archangel's Staff to not run out of mana. At this point you have only 1 slot to spend - if it's against assasins, you should get Zhonya's Hourglass, but if it's not then if you go Rabadon's Deathcap, it just increases your supporting potential way more than Lich Bane, in terms of healing, shielding, extra movespeed or extra damage on your Q. So even though the item itself is good, I just prefer to not build it on healing Sona.

But once again, thank you very much and I will make sure to update my guide as soon as possible!!

look i'm not trying to sponsor myself or anything but if you have a look at my Sona support guide i've made take a couple ideas from there and basically i've changed my support into mid lane anyway and who said you couldn't take both Rod of Ages and Seraph's Embrace? <3 love that you don't hate my btw

After reviewing this guide I went into a game with her and I successfully won with a record of 2/1/18, as well as a ranking of S-. Excellent guide <3
