Really nice guide, but can you add and in Threats please? I really, Really, REALLY hate lanning against them becasue they are so mobile frustrating to face them especially since he has infinite dashes with his E and people really hate playing against him and I 95% ban him. Once again, Very nice guide and keep up good work. (Please add what should I use summoner spells against and and Items)

Hey do you still advice to go for lich bane second in your standard build after the nerf? Been seeing a lot of Serapsh Embrace recently. When would you go for either one of those? And in the matchup against melee ad assasins(zed, yasuo, etc.) what would you usually recommend building third after zhonyas second?

Yes lich bane is still great on viktor. The synergy with allows you to abuse that passive every few seconds. Archangel's is good when fully stacked but until that it's a joke item that delays your scaling even more. Viktor is already useless in the early game with no prio in lane + he needs time to scale up. His slow scaling is why he's not being played right now, and if you delay that scaling even more, then you have to rely on your team not speed running it, and that doesn't really work in soloq. You can use it but you will have less impact in the early-mid game

heyy can anyone please help me sometimes i back with viktor and after having boots and buying lost chapter i have 500 gold and idk what to buy is worth getting a dark sheel or a tear and just hang it i am playing with the phase rush runes if anyone know please respond it will help me a lot

Yes you can do that. Tear is fine if you're going for the super late game.. but it's going to delay your power spikes, so don't build it in games where your team is getting stomped. Dark seal is always fine to buy if you have to recall early, and don't have anything better to buy. If you snowball, you can always upgrade it to mejai's and one shot people, otherwise you just sell dark seal later on.

this is a really good viktor guide but i have a question.do you have any tips to help people hit viktors laser easily since it is such a wierd skillshot?

It comes with experience. You could try out the practice tool with 0 second CD on E to really get the hang of it

Very helpful guide!. But a few things I would like to be changed. The gameplay needs to be updated to fix the current patch/ season. (It is outdated). Another thing is a more obvious Augment order. Finally, the electrocute build needs to be updated to the season 11 items. Please consider some of these recommendations!

What dou you think of Cosimc Drive, I think it's a very underrated Item and can help Kite some champions?

It's decent. If you really want it, I can recommend getting it as 4th item or later if you don't need a defensive item.

What's your opinion on night harvester? Obviously you'd be lacking in mana, but could you go seraphs into night harvester maybe?

I wouldn't recommend it. It's designed for the assassin class who wants to snowball early, and don't rely on mana items (Akali, Diana, Katarina, Evelynn etc). Viktor isn't an early game snowballing champion, and even if you build you will still be losing out on component for the laning phase and 600 mana. The passive cooldown on (40sec) is also really high compared to (10sec) so you really don't get that much value from it. Once you get your mythic item + and you start oneshot people anyway

Great guide overall! I do have three minor gripes. Firstly, the klepto Viktor thing should be removed, since, now that Kleptomancy is gone, it wont be possible.

Secondly, I'm not super experienced, but you say Heal is the standard summoner on most mages, why is that? I've never run heal on Viktor ever.

Thirdly, Is splitpush Viktor with Teleport viable in any matchups? If so, which ones?

Fixed, ty! is good if you are planning to skirmish a lot with your jungler but otherwise i would go for either for safe scaling, for a more aggressive laning phase or for survivability and much better teamfighting.

can splitpush in the sidelane yes but you mostly want to be grouped with your team because he's a 5v5 champion with insane teamfighting and waveclear. Whether you splitpush or not heavily depends on the state of the game and both teamcomps. If you have then you should be looking to farm in the sidelanes yes.

A bit of both. Team reliant because:
1. He needs time to scale, so you rely on your team not running it down in the early game.
2. He's a late game monster but he's not with less than 1 second CD on mini , so you still have to stick to your team to not get caught out.

So he's team reliant early game and a 1v9 machine late game.

I was just wondering, a few days ago i was trying some runes for viktor and tried Approach Velocity in the inspiration rune, since at max hex core all basic skills applies slow, and i found it quite nice! also, i really could use another opinion, what you think of that rune? i was going with Aery/Phase Rush ( i use Aery to bully melee champions), Manaflow Band, Transcendence and Scorch in primary tree, secondary i was with Future Market and Approach Velocity

Yes that works, the secondary page can be swapped for any tree so you are pretty much free to use whatever you want. I have never tried approach velocity but it sounds decent. Personally i think phase rush is op, so i'm using it in every single game on viktor.

I don't see where the notes are for klepto. Is it possible to put up match-up guides. Like how to approach trouble champions and counters? For example: I picked before their mid and went Viktor, and they chose Garen and I got totally wrecked...would like to know if there is a good strategy against tanks if they go mid. (it also didn't help I had a useless jungle, but that is a whole other discussion)

I can add match-ups in the future when i have time again! Normally klepto viktor is only played toplane because you face a lot of melee champs, so proccing klepto is obviously easier. I always recommend ap viktor mid, especially against tanks because you can just outshove them and roam but to answer your question:

Tanks mid are easy to deal with, especially as klepto viktor because they have no way of killing you, and limited waveclear. You can hit them over and over for free gold with klepto. Something like garen can never threaten you because of your , and augmented . It's really difficult to tell someone how to play in every match-up because there are more factors to think about, such as:

- Both junglers. Do they have a aggressive or passive jungler? ****ty ganks? Is your jungler always invading, or does the enemy jungler have more impact?

- Powerspikes

- Strengths and weaknesses in the match ups

etc.

Garen: You want to poke as much as possible with for the free klepto procs. Just be careful earlier on, as you will be taking minion aggro and they hurt A LOT. Garen doesn't have any way of setting you up for ganks, so lane is pretty free if you keep your distance and respect the enemy jungler. Other tanks might be better at settings up ganks, so you can always set up a freeze at your side of the lane, so you will be safe from ganks while being able to farm for free.
