You don't really need to rush zhonya's against zed/yas, it won't be needed. If you're struggling then picking up a Seeker's Armguard is always your safest bet regardless of what happens, though upgrading it to a zhonya's is overkill. It will ruin your damage (or make it extremely low) so you'll barely be able to do stuff.

Instead, think of your item path like this:

Seeker's Armguard > Lost Chapter > Boots of Speed > Luden's Echo > Zhonya's Hourglass > Sorc Boots > Other items

It doesn't really matter at all what other people say about your build. Hextech Gunblade is a nice fill item if you're incredibly ahead, not in need of any defensive items and you feel like it'll be fine without it. The only other option to fill that item spot would be a Lich Bane though it would still require you to get a defensive item.

> Most of the time people do not take Transcendence to over-cap on CDR for stats, most of the time it's to round out your build and give you max 40% CDR no matter what you build, so every single game you will have Luden's for 20%, Transcendence for 10%, and this allows you to choose between Zhonya's, Lich or Banshee for the final 10%, OR if you just get blue you reach 40%, if you over-cap from getting a blue that's great, but it's not something you should push to do. Ahri makes plays only with her ultimate active, so you want as much CDR as possible for her ulti.

If you wanted to make the most out of Transcendence I would drop Rabadons Deathcap and build into Anthenas unholy hourglass which helps with Ahri's mana consumption, gives 30 AP as well as another 20 AP from the 100% mana regeneration passive it also has as well as giving you more CDR thus, giving you excessive CDR and by extension of Transcendence Adaptive Force."

Rabadon's Deathcap is an item EVERY SINGLE MAGE should be building in EVERY GAME, it's the highest damage item and increases your AP drastically, why would I replace Deathcap for... a support item? The whole reason you build Athenes is so you can heal people with shielding/healing. Ahri has neither that she can apply on a team mate. It's a support item. Again, we get CDR and mana from Luden's anyway, no idea why this crosses your mind.

> Dark Harvest is in general not the best rune, UNLESS your champion can't proc other runes easily (Zoe, Karthus use this a few others). Ahri is weak early game, she won't harass people early for Dark Harvest stacks, the high base damage from Electrocute is great for her because she can proc it really easily, she's generally weak in damage so you need the higher base damage to help you snow ball. Scorch is ok, but it doesn't fit the playstyle on Ahri, and we don't want to replace Manaflow or Transcendence.

"I would also like to say I have no desire to build into Hextech Gunblade as I am in bronze and both teams would have a field day reporting me for building Hextech gunblade on Ahri.. Probably say I am "Inting" or "Trolling".. No thank you."

> Hextech Gunblade, in the right situation on Ahri, is very good, except this situation is VERY RARE. It's when you're so extremely fed, you're good on Ahri, whole enemy team is squishy and you don't need any defensive items, you just want to pop one champion as fast as you can, and because you're Bronze/new to League you probably don't even use it's active well enough yet.

"Also, I don't think Ahri is a "Jack of all trades master of none" Shes more like a C tier pick. Allow me to explain my view on it."

> Ahri is one of the best solo queue picks for years now, always having a really good winrate with an above average pick rate. Right now she has a 52% winrate up til Platinum (source: champion.gg), and her winrate is better the lower the elo because of how forgiving her ultimate is for bad players. She is good at a lot of things (CC, mobility, healing, damage with Charm) but she's not GREAT at it. She's not truly dedicated to one of this things, but she is decent at all of them. Of course you won't out-heal a Sylas, or out mobility a Yasuo, or out damage a Syndra, but she can perform equally on everything she has.

"She doesn't have the damage to be considered a burst mage or an assassin. She doesn't have the ability to farm to be considered an early game character"

> Which is why you take Electrocute, play lane early just for farming, and roam to look for kills with your ultimate post 6. She can farm really easily with her Q, especially past level 9.

"Her charm compared to literally every other CC is lack luster at best and with out CC or decent healing she can't really support all that well. She doesn't have the HP to be considered a Jungle and I am pretty sure she would get picked apart by the onslaught of High damage duelists and Super Tanks that play in top lane. I guess the term "Jack of all trades master of none" doesn't seem to apply very well at least not against the super assassins, and super burst mages that populate the closest thing Ahri has to a label. She gets out mobile'd and out damaged by most of her match ups and with being our mobile'd, out ranged and out damaged, She gets out roamed which shes intended to be good at."

But she has a little bit of EVERYTHING in her kit which makes her flexible. Syndra has no mobility, Zed has no healing or super easy waveclear, she gets outroamed by Qiyana with mobility boots, she is a champion in her own right. Practicing her and allowing use of EVERYTHING in her kit makes you a good Ahri player, because she's not SPECIALIZED in any one thing.

Allowing her to Bypass terrain by trading Mana as well as ever so slightly increasing her damage and making her truly mobile rather then mobile once every minute and a half."

This is the most stupid balance change ask I've ever seen, this is just being extremely biased to Ahri as a champion and you want her to be better, rather than yourself as a player. If this was to become her passive, she would receive nerfs on EVERYTHING in her kit and made extremely weak to allow this to happen, no thanks.

I've been playing League for 7 years. I started the game playing Ahri. I have been master tier with her. I have no problem people challenging my guide with other interpretations fairly, but you're Bronze and you've played League for so little, I feel like you're attacking me? Then you offering me to build Athenes on Ahri to make up for her mana issues. You need to learn the game a lot more before you bring forward ideas like this, it really shows you have no idea what you are trying to convey, sorry to say. I'm not trying to flame you, but I feel like I have to put my point across strongly for you to understand.
