Also, I wouldn't say Manamune is ****. There are a lot of different champions, including this one, that need that extra mana. The mana regeneration is also nice.
Lastly, Jarvan is VERY mana hungry early game. Unlike some other champions, he will run out very quickly, especially if he is comboing. Even if you get the Blue buff, you will constantly run out of mana in a fight if you want to do some actual decent damage early game or you want to survive. Don't say that any champ will have mana problems, too. Ezreal and Karthus are 2 good examples of champions that are never truly mana hungry.
Just saying.
Also, the items way off so more AD/AS
Last game: 38/4/18
1. You lack a reliable Crowd Control = Not true your a combo ambusher 1,2,3,4 = done
2. You have no convenient healing method = seriously? He heals himself fine
3. You are very very VERY slow. = rofl think again, he heals enough to ambush then fallback
4. Mana Hungry early. = not if your comboing, but then again you can almost
claim that with any champ from level 1-9...rofl Usually after level 10 you went past your flat runes anyways
Last note one thing people forget all the time is Synergies....hint...hint... One skill feeds the other best...
And in my opinion, Manamune is garbage.
My only issue with it is that, in early game, he doesn't need the extra shield absorb. Really, the increased damage with the combo combined with extra AS and Armor for your team and your shield's slow will cause you to get fed or do well in lane. Maybe get 2 points in shield then max Standard. I say Standard as, since it is magic damage and scales off AP, any items that you will get as Jarvan won't boost it's damage. If you max it early, you can use it to harass for decent damage early game.
+1 anyway.
