First of all, have you ever tried Hail of Blades as a rune option? It is extremely aggressive early, and a bit more useful in skirmishes and team fights compared to electrocute. Azir's soldiers auto-attacks do not apply normal auto-attack effects, so it does not proc Press the Attack. There are no other instances besides escaping ganks where Guardian might be effective, and I personally doubt the value of taking Guardian, as well as the rest of the tree, is better than taking Domination, Sorcery, or Precision as primary.

Also, is building Ludens Echo and Nashor's Tooth a good option, rather than building Nashor's Tooth into Morellonomicon or Liandry's Torment? Azir isn't really mana-hungry.

Hey!
I did try HoB once but it didn't end up working as well as I thought it would, but maybe it was because of the match-up so I'll do some more testing with it.
I did not know PTE didn't get proc by 's soldiers since I always preferred , I'll remove it as an option.
I'll play a bit more with and see if it's actually worth it.
I tried not building in some games but I ended up having mana issues until the 25m mark, maybe if you manage your mana correctly you can avoid buying this item, but I personally think that the fun thing about support is being able to spam your soldiers poking your enemies constantly, and allows you to do that.
