my dream Christmas gift would be to be able to see my friends again. Before quarantine, I would hang out with one of my friends every day. Back then, I would take these interactions for granted. Back then, my ideal gift would be something more objective. Now that I can only see those friends over zoom, on league, or 6 feet apart, I realize. Now my ideal Christmas present would be being able to socialize and be carefree with these friends once again.

When I first watched PS I Love You on Netflix for the first time; I cried so much because it reminded me of my decaying relationship (this took place around November to December, so it was around that season). Anyway, we broke it off, and it WAS definitely a good thing. However, I was still sad, and when I rewatched the movie around Christmas time, I learned a lot from it because she was in a somewhat similar situation as me, and she grew from it. (Her husband died, and she has to move on from it. Yes. Very different situations, but similar to the moving on part o.o). It became one of my favorite comfort movies, and for some reason, I always associate it with Christmas. It reminds me of how much I've grown, and every time I watch it (usually during December), I grow to love it even more :) (Also, I usually don't watch "classic" Christmas movies because it ends up being really cheesy lol, so I just watch Rom-Com's, Disney movies, or some nostalgic movie fjfkj)
There are a few different ways you can make it, but at its core, its a fruit cake doused in brandy and lit on fire. Usually, the host of Christmas Lunch/dinner will bring it out already lit almost like a birthday cake with the candles lit! Its a lot of fun, and tastes amazing! However, there are lots and lots of stories of people lighting other things on fire... curtains, table cloths, and their grandma's hair!
