As far as we know any ground targeted skill will act that way, which can be a bit annoying. If it’s screwing you up too much, turn the indicator on to show the range, this will prevent this from happening and still be smooth on the transition since you don't have to press again, just release.
You could... simply understand your champion more and visualizing the range of all your abilities subconsciously.

It's because it offers so much early game vision, mobility, gold and EXP, which is extraordinarily important for any and all Junglers.
If a jungler obtained both, it sets him way farther ahead of the enemy Jungler. The mid lane Yasuo running off is simply trying to aid his Jungler in hopes to get a lead. It's MID lanes job to roam for his team as Top laners are too preoccupied being the lonely island nobody cares about.
Example: Udyr or Nunu gets both, then uses them to increase their already huge mobility to apply pressure to all lanes, ganking relentlessly.

Putting it out there pretty bluntly the answer to your question is a resounding... NO.
It's pointless to build something that doesn't benefit your champions skill-set. It's like trying to build full AD on
Teemo he has 0 AD scaling and is 100% AP scaling, so while he may deal more damage to people stacking MR, he himself is dealing significantly less compared to standard AP.
In this case,
Darius has 0 AP scaling, therefor he will do 0 bonus damage compared to your standard AD build.
[[Sylas]]: Hijacked ultimates and abilities that do not scale with ability power have their attack damage ratios converted to ability power ratios.
[[Viego]]: All champions stolen have their items and abilities mirrored besides (R) active items can not be used.

The great thing about multitasking is that several things can go wrong at once.

1. How do I set in options that whenever my champion casts an ability outside of its maximum range that he doesn't automatically move towards that position rather casts the ability at its maximum range?
2. Why is fighting for crab so important? For example Yassuo almost always leaves the lane to help the jungler fight over a crab, regardless whether his wave is pushed or being pushed (unless he literally has a fully stacked wave crashed into his tower?). He even once said 'their jungler gets double crab. it's gg.' which I don't understand. It's not that it gives more exp or something. If you as a jungler 'lost' both crabs its not that you are behind really. You can simply keep farming your camps and ganking normally...
3. How does building AP correlate with champions that don't have any AP scallings? For example is there any benefit of building AP Darius? What does Darius with 500 AP mean? Does his Q deal the exact same damage as if he had 0 items?
4. (In accordance with question number 3.) What factors the damage you deal when you are playing a 'stolen champion'. Sylas R and Viego P specifically. When you as Sylas hijack Qiyana R (which has very high AD ratio and deals physical damage) , do you deal more damage with a standard AP Sylas build or you'd deal much more if you were building full AD?
