In my opinion, as an Ammumu main when off-roleing Jungle, Conqueror is by far the best rune, no matter what (viable) items you are opting for. Not only does it give sustain, the Precision tree allows for more risky/bursty teams in 2v2s

Both Ultimate and Treasure hunter subrunes work well, indeed. I really think this is a matter of preference. As you become more adept with Amumu, you should get a good idea of what subrune here works the best. I'll look into adding a little paragraph about these options in the guide!
I don't have any comments on Demonic Embrace, it's probably worth waiting to see.
Abyssal Mask will really only be a buy into AP teams. I don't think the MR debuff is going to be strong, the number is not mentioned.
FoN should become significantly stronger with priority.
Also, Cosmic Drive should feel really good for Amumu's AP build, even though he's not a fighter, the MS should help so long as it stays 30%+.
I appreciate your constructive criticism, but I would also appreciate if you can tell me what I can improve on, I will definitely look further into it and see to it that your voice is heard.
I don't believe I've given any misleading information.
As far as subjectiveness, I used to have summon aery on amumu and played him with rylai's and liandry's, which is what most people don't generally do, if that's what you're asking. I changed it recently after resolve became a stronger path and summon aery got nerfed.
And as far as "worst" guides go, I do not compare this guide with other guides.
In short, please do let me know what I can improve on.

https://www.leaguespy.net/league-of-legends/champion/amumu/stats shows itemization is correct. As far as the skill order goes, this shows different hence I'll keep an open mind to try it out next game.
As said before, I won't at all base my guides off other guides; just my personal experience. Even if some guides say to do certain things, if I do mine a different way and it works, that is the way I shape the guide.
The skills is the way I've played Amumu forever and even off recently. It's been working well but I will try out maxing W-E-Q, but Q I believe should never be maxed first. Even if you will go damage.
As far as "math" I'm unsure what you mean by that so if you'd like to clarify that I can get you a more accurate response.
Jungle pathing I can assure you will be remade soon however the blue start will remain. It is outdated but I haven't gotten around the time to do this.
