Jax is my cure for Corki. If he runs away because I am about to kill him, I don't care. Maybe I have a good Ezreal on my team that can finish him. Or maybe Corki is just missing out on all that farming he could be doing. You can't get your last hits when you are gone or at low health and your opposing laner is going to kill you if you take one step in the wrong direction.

Your Corki reminds me of my Kennen. I can own just about anybody solo, push my lane, get all the last hit (hella-farm), push the turret, and still escape a 3-man gank.

Speaking of Kennen, a gank with Kennen and someone else can get Corki IF he is not turret hugging or close to the turret through valkryie.

and kat with rylai's works ok.

Corki is very difficult to counter, but I would say counter him as you would any other ranged carry - jump on them in the middle of a fight and hit them for as much CC as possible. If he Valks out, he's not doing any DPS. If he comes back in, he gets chain stunned again. I'd say that if you want to counter-pick a Corki, get some hard CC on your team, and lots of it.

Well, with Valkyrie, Ghost, AND Flash. You can't bring down Corki.
Good players can't die.

Only way is to faint a gank to force you to burn summoner spells.
If they do that successfully, the 2nd or 3rd gank will have the Corki dead. Some champions are just invincible with their summoners on, so focus on changing that by forcing spell-usage.

Here's how to counter Corki:

Corki, much like Ashe, falls under the category of "hard carry". This champion was made to carry and do nothing but carry; his utility mainly falls within the realm of "doing lots of damage". In this way, Corki needs a team built in order to be the rest of his utility, for example Shen (with lots of CC and damage soak that Corki lacks, and has global shield for him) or Janna (has CC that Corki lacks and can protect him like Shen can, while giving him an offensive boost). So, the first counter to him (though this is a weak counter, as you might as well just ban Corki) is to ban the champions that work best with him - eg, champions that are pure utility. Even though this is a far cry from an actual counter, I thought it was worth mentioning.

Now, since Corki is a hard carry, how do you counter a hard carry in general? The answer is to field an anti-carry, someone who can take out the pure damage quickly so the pure utility champions have nothing to support. Examples include (but aren't limited to) Poppy, Akali, Xin Zhao, Trundle, etc. It's best to have a bruiser for this job (especially one with a decent gap closer) because Corki WILL be fighting from the back of the fight.

Also, I hear a lot of people saying "gank, gank, gank some more". I don't really think this is the best approach - Corki's Valkyrie isn't on a 250 second cooldown like flash is, and being mid makes it even harder to gank him. If he's solo top it's worth trying to gank him, but the only thing you should be doing as a jungler/roamer while ganking Corki is to force his summoners to blow. Since it's so hard to gank Corki, it's better to just gank easier targets with more success than to focus so hard on Corki.

It's best to try and focus countering Corki late-game, since he has such strong lane dominance and escapability in lane. So, for a lane match-up, I'd suggest putting a character with strong lane presence that scales well into late-game, such as Annie. It shouldn't be too hard for Annie to at least maintain a lane against Corki, even if she doesn't win the lane outright.

So then, the best way to counter Corki is to have a late-game anti-carry that will focus him heavily in team fights. Also, keeping the area behind the Dragon/Baron coves warded is helpful so he can't try to missile steal (or you could just get a decent smiter).

EDIT: Oh, and another thing worth mentioning: It's really, really hard to zone Corki. You can't hit him hard or let his minion wave push to zone him, since he'll just farm with Phos bomb/missiles. We already established that it's difficult to force him out of lane, so the only way to mess up his farming is to push the minion wave to HIS tower, and then disappear to farm wraiths or something.

Malphite is pretty gay. Any way to get up and personal to Corki is pretty deadly. A well fed Yi, Blitz pulls, Amumu, etc. Of course this is only in team scenarios. It's very difficult to do any harm to him while laning.

I couldn't have said it better myself :)

Urgot "anti-carries" like a baws in lategame. The way I build him at least :3

Yippee Searz approves of my counters :D

Urgot is a strong anti-carry, but I'd consider that more of a secondary role on Urgot (to primary carrying), compared to someone like Poppy.
