And if you got the names of the people who liked your thing, you would see their personal name and info, which I doubt they want some random guy from Europe (you) to see.

This in the end would be an invasion of privacy without consent. Not all people that 'like' a guide wants to be known by everyone else.

Well the bottom part was for Facebook accounts only. Still, if Matt is going to implement it, it needs to be like the below. Replace first names with MOBAFire account names. However, some people DON'T have accounts, so that'll be an issue. Also, some people might want to +Facebook Like a guide w/o people knowing that they did.
