Tried your build since it was spammed on my builds comments, not much different from mine except I ran out of mana and didn't regen it nearly as fast. Also it lacks the HP regen my build offers in the synergy of Strength of Spirit, Perseverance and Expanded Mind.

You claim my build doesn't do epic damage but you didnt see the math... you finish with around 209 AP whereas your's doesnt even come close to that. yours has nothing to offer and both are tank builds so why comment out there not being

Please don't double post on my build and actually try to leave helpful feedback.

I find it interesting that you voted my build down...
On one hand I appreciate the feedback - but at the same time I don't understand why the hostility between fellow Galio players. If you had looked at the stats at the bottom of the build you would have seen that my build has a chart of all stats which I'd like to point out offers sufficiently more HP regen and AP lategame. Moreso than what yours contains.

I could argue all day with you about the differences between the two builds.
If you tried and it failed - it could've been for a multitude of reasons.

Bad teams, personal playstyle, spamming too much etc.
But that's beside the point - I'm sorry it didn't work for you.
I posted pictures of my victory history - if you look at the k/d/a ratio you'd see that I got a fair number of kills every game... can your build say the same? If so, let's see the proof! :D

Or better yet play a game with my Galio and I'll be happy to show you what I mean =]
I'm voting this guide down for practicality and due to the fact that you just criticized it and didn't offer any HELPFUL feedback. You just said you had problems with hp5/mp5...
Once again - refer to the chart at the bottom.

I tried this build out - I had problems farming until late game... The defenses are too high - so you deal very little damage with your ult which is NOT the point at all.

You want to deal epic damage - but that's just my take on it.

Idol of Durand- (Active) Galio channels for 2.5 seconds, taunting nearby foes and blocking 30% of incoming damage.

After channeling, Galio deals 220 / 330 / 440 (+0.85) magic damage to surrounding enemies, plus an additional 10% damage for each attack suffered while channeling. Max 80% bonus damage.
Not based on how much the damage did. Get hit 8 times in 2.5 seconds and you've maxed your bonus damage. You haven't a clue about Galio if think having armor is wrong.

Thornmail does damage to attackers and more to DPS carries
Sunfire does damage per second
Then your ult hits, you're a tank, you're there to do one job and its not do damage its soak up damage.

Not to mention the 0% on CDR... that makes it extremely difficult to be ready at all times for teamfights or ganking enemy champions. Not a bad 'guide' but its lacking luster - check my guide out and let me know me what you think if you'd be so kind! =]

I said you could swap some CDR in with boots of Ionian if there isn't any CC to worry about.
I don't know how to implement all the nifty icons but that doesn't make my guide any less than yours.

With my movement speed quints I can toss those Smites ahead of most opponents catching them.

At level 5 with smite 3 and 2 gust you can sweep all mage creeps away and with my masteries you can do it for a long time.

Strength of Spirit + Perseverance + Expanded mind = HP regen for lane staying power.

Personally I don't think you actually tried this build out at all, you just commented twice to link to your own build.
