Yup kinda, but in this case I think it would be for the better.
I really like the idea.

The moment a religious person unknowingly calls his own ways stupid: "And lol. I highly doubt you have magic powers. If you proved it I would believe you, but since you 'refuse to', I choose not to."
Censoring the community? The point of this website is to come and share guides with one another, and be helpful with positive feedback.
Ill quote someone who down voted my guide. "Looks interesting."
Does this person have more than 5 post? No. Has this account been made in the past few weeks? No, it was made today.
This is worse than trolling and should be fixed. I could easily get me and a friend to make 5 accounts and down vote someone because I'm in favor of another guide over yours. That shouldn't be the case. Its rude to the person who made the guide and it lowers moral and in turn stops people from sharing.

Everyone treats any down-vote as a troll vote unless they write a ******** essay. Quit whining about "troll votes", they're more rare than you think.
The point is, people find guides and make an account to upvote. It'd just be a pain in the *** to the new people, as well as inhibiting growth. For those who want to troll vote/anonymous vote, they'll wait those two weeks. The only difference will be after 2 weeks, they'll downvote from their main account because the 20 votes may possibly be up.
It won't prevent anything, people will downvote from a separate account if they want. Do you want to confront your accuser or something??

Trojan, how can you be so sure about that? I'm pretty sure down votes are really common
Yes, DOWN votes are common. Don't merge troll votes and down votes together.
