WHY DO PEOPLE BUILD SONA LIKE AN AP NUKE?

You can fix squishy to a certain extent, but you can't fix the inability of support Sona to do anything but be a floating aura beacon...and that is my main issue with support Sona...she just stands around and can't help push, can't do damage, can't heal damage...as soon as a team fight breaks out support Sona's team will be great right up until they get down to low health...at least Soraka can global heal for quite a bit...[/quote]

[/quote] Her "aura beacon" also slows people and speeds your team up while giving off sustainable damage/heal; when it comes to Sona, her scaling does not allow her to actually burst, so while you can do "burst", it's better to sustain. Soraka is the "burst" version of Sona, with a 0.9 scaling heal (instant, rather than missile) and a 1.3 scaling heal ultimate. There's a reason why Sona builds Philo Stones while Soraka builds Kage Picks for gold/10s. Here, let's just skrim; your team vs mine. Prove to me that AP Sona is viable before my own eyes, and I will take back everything I've said.[/quote]
