Manamune is usually better to have before Sheen.
Right, that's what I was thinking. The efficiency is really high, and as much as I disagree with you and Bloodthirster, Manamune is one thing you can't go wrong with due to the impossibility to lose stacks upon death.
Think of it this way Xai, if Archangel's stacked 8 mana per spell instead of 4, it would probably make it worth rushing. The thing is, it stays at 4 per spell, which is why casters keep it as a tear. Manamune, on the other hand, charges 1 per attack per 3 seconds and also 4 per spell; this not only lets you finish stacking faster, but lets you harass harder and push harder; it's also hard to gank Corki due to his Valkerie, where you would need 3 people to clamp Corki completely at mid, and you can back off due to intuition upon seeing one miss bottom.
I'm not saying this screenshot totally vouches that my build is correct, but this is just "Xaioli's Standard Build". I will continue testing Manamune before Sheen. Again, I thank you for the help, but I just honestly think Sheen is strong before rushing a straight Manamune because again, you've gotta let Manamune stack to get the 'big bonus'. Sheen helps you poke a lot better since Missle Barrage and Phos Bombs are all AP, and it's your main poking early game, not auto attacks. Anyways, I'll keep testing it now guys ;)
EDIT: This was originally a totally lost game, but Corki is ridiculously OP. Just saying.

Yeah Xai, just keep in mind that Manamune charges upon basic attacks too; I'd say rush Manamune and get Boots and Amp Tome on first back for that AP and then next back get Sheen and whatever else you can afford.

I don't get it, I don't have to recall at all. Usually, I make one trip back then my gold farming kicks in. Tear + Boots of Speed. Farming kicks in, I allow my Tear to stack up. If I have to end my farming prematurely, I pick up a Sheen. If I'm allowed to farm, I finish my Manamune cause it's allowed time to stack.
Better explanation? When you harrass at 6+, you're mainly spamming with Missle Barrage and Phos Bomb. They all benefit from AP, so the small AP from Sheen helps, slightly. The extra poke damage is great because well, you're poking. Gatling Gun does some mean damage, but Corki isn't 'auto attack heavy earlygame.'
I can see your argument with sheen doing more damage, but you are doing it wrong. Sheen's proc, for me, would be the only real reason I would get it earlier than manamune. However, don't forget that his missiles scale with ad too and in 1v1 fights, Gatling matters more than a small damage boost on your Q. All in all, the damage increase just doesn't seem significant enough to deny stacking up your manamune more quickly.

Since this is a Corki thread, what do you guys think about an AP Corki? Everytime I play him, that's how I go. Discuss.
AD is better for damage, pushing towers, etc. AP is only better at farming and AD is still great at that.
When building AP you need to be able to burst, and Corki can't burst late-game with limited charges on his ultimate and only his Q as an offensive spell with a mediocre AP ratio anyway. Since R scales with AD anyway, AP is just bad.
