Hi all! I just played a few games last night and tonight me and my friend and gonna tear it up for like 7 hours so im pumped. But at the same time i know whats going to happen. Im going to lose probably every game, and if we do actually win it wont be because of me. Im level 12 (just turned last night and i haven't played a game while being 12 so no flash for me yet lol) and i don't have any character that im good with. And i know, i have played every champion in the past 3 line ups (i have had an account for only 3 weeks :( ). So for like the first 10 levels i played 3v3 pretty much every time and i wasn't terrible. I would break even or be positive almost every game. Then i got some advice saying 5v5 is where it's at, and so since then i have been playing only 5v5. I don't know what happened to me. I am incapable of being positive. I think the past 15 games i play i went positive maybe 2x. One of those was a custom against bots haha. The other time i think was just luck cause it was my first time with hiemrdinger. I don't think i have played any champ more than 4 times and the only reason i play a champ that often is because the line up sometimes only has like one or two of a particular role, and the 4 other guys all lock in right away and im stuck being the tank or something if we want any chance. Ive looked at a bunch of noob guides but i dont know its just not clicking. whats wrong with me :(

Learn one champion well. If you want to go positive, learn a carry. But first realize that not going positive isn't a bad thing. If you were a tank or a support and went 0/3/22, you had a good score. If you had more deaths than kills as a tank, you did a good job (unless you fed). You dying and your carry not dying in a fight that you win is ALWAYS a good thing.

But if you're concerned with feeding, or being the reason why your team loses, I would recommend learning map awareness (if you keep dying during the lane phase) and positioning (if you keep dying in team fights). Map awareness means knowing where enemies are on the map whenever you can. If one of their champions is missing from middle, you should think "Okay, he's coming to kill me in bottom lane. I should back up."

Wards help a lot. Sight wards are only a 75 gold investment that can save your life. In higher level games, you will ALWAYS see wards.

Positioning in a team fight is where you are relative to everyone else. If you're playing a squishy character like Heimerdinger, Ashe, etc, you shouldn't be on the front lines. You should be as far back as possible, staying behind your beefy characters while still dishing out damage to their squishy characters.

Another thing which jebus forgot to mention is you should pay attention to is the usage of items.

Activations on items such as Zhonya's Hourglass, Quicksilver Sash etc and regular items such as potions require you to be aware on which key they are (usually i place all usables on the first 3 slots so its easier to use, 1 - 2 - 3 which is near your Q - W - E) and to be able to use them at the right time.

Using items can make / break the game for you if you decide to get usable items.

YOU NEED TO LEARN TO REMEMBER YOU HAVE USABLES, else you will end up like me sometimes on a bad day having an elixir which couldve saved my life 3 times yet i forgot it every time.

thanks for posting i gave you some rep for it but that doesn't really help me too much. I understand that going positive isn't everything and i dont really feed either ( i say i do in vent because im enraged with something that just happened, but i know in reality dying 4 times in a game isnt feeding). I buy sight wards and i have relatively good map awareness i think. i have friends who are 30 with like 3-400 wins who have worse awareness than me sometimes. I kinda feel like Mickey in the Rocky movie. I can tell my team when to gank, when to push, when to ult and stuff and i am mostly correct. But when it comes to me stepping in the ring with Apollo Creed i get my old bitter bones pounded into dust. As for buying a champ i was going to wait till i was level 20, and buy 3 pages of runes according to searz rune guide. then i was going to buy 50$ of rp and buy every champion i liked up till that point. Because of that i make it a point to play every champ in the line up at least once. I haven't played a champ more than 4 times though. i almost always look up the match history of the ppl i play against and it seems that when i get face rolled the other person hasn't played the same champ in 10 games and when my team is going against a bunch of monkey's flinging poo their match history normally has them playing the same champ repeatedly. Whats with that? It also doesnt help that in a 5v5 im usually one of the only players not 30, but i have seen people as low a level as me survive way better or be more useful that i ever was.

Find one champion you can play well, again, like a carry. If your problem here is killing enemies and always dying to them in direct confrontation, you just need to work on your CS. I trust that your item builds are good. You need to work on last hitting and getting as many creeps as possible in the wave. If you look at professionals play, they almost always get every creep every wave, meaning that they can recall 10 minutes in and buy a B.F. Sword and boots, instead of someone with poor CS who has to buy boots and a Long Sword.

Btw, six nails, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET SOME SPACES IN BETWEEN YOUR TEXT XD.

It is very unreadable like looking at a wall.

Spaces in between goes like i do now, every new sentence has an extra Enter in between.

its funny you mention that i actually had a convo with a friend of mine (more like him yelling at me) because i had a deathfire and didnt realize you shoot it at people the whole game. After that i bound 1 to spacebar and put my activate there. so early game i have my health potions in the one slot and if i get an item with an active it goes there. i never purchased more that 1 item with an active so far so the spacebar thing is working well :)

that ridiculous. is i went against someone that had 1950 gold in 10 minutes i would report them haha.

What if your laning with someone? do you just take all their creeps? I normally have a higher creeper

score than most in the game but i didn't think it was possible to reliable get every creep every wave.

I find myself always hitting them and bringing them to 1 health and then a minion kills them, or my

tower kills them before i can, or some die while im running to and fro picking off the creeps with

lower health. And of course there are the team mates that pick a champ that are just better for

farming and refuse to let you last hit. I hate when they push the line into a tower immediately and

now not only can i not take creeps cause of the tower and the champs hiding behind it, but we are gank

bait as well.... (ps check out that sexy fine spacing i did there freestyle ;) )

Ok, to be of more assistance, just make a quick list of what you are interested in.
So basicly:

-Training with certain champions or with the gameplay itself.

-Advice on something.

-Advice on another thing.

-Theory of the game.

Something you might find interesting if looking for specific help with the game is checking out the trainers list http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/forum/mentoring/trainers-list-3625?page=1.

And sexy spacing :), though it's only supposed to be after an sentence *sentences end with a dot.* but it's alot better ^_^.
