The thing I don't get is the people who insist on putting a mejai's on a support...the last thing Soraka needs a a big sign that says "FOCUS ME".

oh, and another note:
Meijai's isn't supposed to be a good item for competitive play - it's supposed to be a VERY high risk, VERY high reward item. They're not going to change it to be lower risk, lower reward for that reason - you can get other items for that same effect.

I sometimes buy Mejai on my Veigar.
That's because I usually end up getting so much farm after building Tear, Sorc Shoes, and Kage's LP that I end up stomping all the enemies all game. :3
