One confused Teemo here

I'm also good at him (I think), so it's better for me to play him instead of the OP meta heroes which I'm not as good at and which I don't enjoy playing at all. In response, the awesome community of the official forums wished me the best of luck. They then said that I will always, ALWAYS get flamed, called noob, reported, queue dodged, and lynched if I pick him. In other words, if I carry on playing Teemo, I have no future. This has never happened to me, and after reflecting on my performance as Teemo my future should be OK but... I'm a lvl16 summoner, I know things may change as I level up. Most likely (if servers don't become too horrible) I will be (almost) lvl30 by the end of next week, I'm scared. :( Honestly, I suppose they were talking about lvl30. But looking at what Teemo is capable of now I simply cannot compute how he can be so horrible later on. It seems totally impossible.
