First of all, my in game name is Rivack, just like on here.

I've spent a lot of my time lately frantically trying to improve. Playing with friends on skype, playing solo queue, bot games with new champs, anything I can think of. I'm at the point where I think i could use some help and tips in game.

(The champs I've found myself playing the most are Mundo, Tristana, Nunu, Sivir, and tons of dabbling in others.)

I am getting very discouraged from playing squishy champs since I seem to die a lot. I am having a difficult time distinguishing when to go from sitting back and last hitting to jumping forwards to score a kill. Sometimes I buy the wrong item (usually boots) because I don't always know what the best way to build vs. an opposing team is, or how to adjust my game to defeat them.

That's all I can really think off of the top of my head, but if somebody could play a few games with me and show me some tips and tricks I'd much appreciate it. I do have skype, if that's important.

what is your level?

at a low level you will learn most by just playing...

read around guides, get good builds (solomid and this site, leaguecraft, etc. for guides and builds)

you have to learn when you know you can handle an enemy champion...

there isn't much to teach, just use sense and learn.

Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!

I'm halfway to level 20 from 19.

I've read guides, watched the zoning guide and a bunch of the champion spotlights, watched games with commentary (wish I could find more) and I know how to build for the most part (It's mostly just based off of your abilities and off of the enemy team).

Perhaps does anybody know of any videos of games with commentary that I could perhaps find useful?

streams...

clgaming.net

at your level you will still learn most from just playing though

and I wouldn't recommend formulating your own builds quite yet until you for sure know the champ and items and champ/item synergies, I would recommend using builds on this site and solomid.net and leaguecraft.

if there's stuff to learn then there's stuff to teach. If you can watch someone play, then you generally know what to teach them, so they learn it quicker. That's how school works, amirite?

Sent you a req BMB.

Also I have been looking at builds on here and solomid to get an idea on how to go and then tweaking from there, if that makes sense.

yea, always build to the situation.

@BMB,

yes, but it is harder to, say, TEACH someone how to last hit, he just has to practice

it is hard to TEACH someone map awareness, he just has to learn it

it is hard to TEACH someone when the right time to harass is, he just has to experiment for himself.

agreed, but in the case he doesn't know he needs to do that, it's nice to have someone remind you (not saying he doesn't know about map awareness or last hitting)

@Rivack
i'll probably be online tomorrow, i'll send you a ping if I see you online or vice versa
