It's viable but doesn't do as much damage. Vayne is burst oriented around autoattacks, Corki is oriented around poking skills and therefore ends up doing more damage overall with skill spam+Triforce as opposed to just autoattack 3 combo harass, which benefits more from AD.

Alistar, Poppy and Nasus have uses for it because two of them have a "next attack has bonus damage" skill that benefits greatly from sheen. Alistar, on the other hand, wants it for his strong tower push potential.

Vayne just points out that TF is an awesome item, as long as your cooldowns are SHORT.

People don't seem to know that Trinity Force still has the proc cooldown like sheen. Whenever they try to justify its damage they disregard this cooldown. For an example, "Xin Zhao 112x1.5x4 = 672 extra instant dmg wow dat a lut of dmg" *meanwhile in game, E->R->Q->W-> ONE auto attack..."

Getting it on like Ashe would be a ****** idea.
You often see Triforce on usually off-tanks, beefy characters such as Poppy, Maoki, and Irelia. Just to boost their damage since they have 1 or 2 aggressive items.
If you are carry 80% of the time you don't need it because that extra boost can be replaced by a more important item.
