Now that I think of it, you may be actually right that scaling is better here than flat. Will do some testing and see what I conclude. Finally, the AP quints over MrP ones. AP means more harrasing, easier farming and an overall better early game. Yes, MrP are better for late-game, but my rune setup mostly focuses on a good early game :P Phew. That's over [*] Yup, Deathfire grasp is THE ITEM to give you that nuking potential. Also, those 15% CDR will fit perfectly. I have listed it in the "Other Viable Items" section mainly because of the fact that I like to get more survivability, but otherwise, yes, it is da nuke.
