I bought armor quints a while ago and noticed how INSANE they were on Amumu.
So now I wanna theory craft about which champions that are best fitted with armor quints.

I'd also like it if we could discuss items, masteries and paths for the champions mentioned in this thread.

Amumu and Rammus are obviously best off with them, but what others are there?

Amumu because he's a tanky jungler that deals magic damage(so he has no use of ArP or AD), is fast and only has(without armor quints) trouble with survivability.
Rammus because his passive AND shield damage scales with armor. (12.8armor=3.2AD and 1.28 damage on shield)
Malphite because his slam and self buff scale with armor. He's also in a little need of more survivability.

Alistar (most of his damage is magic, not real good though)
Amumu (same as above except he is good)
Blitzcrank (shield + as/ad buff + empowered attack)
Cassiopeia (idk, karthus esque mage, needs as much survivability as possible)
Cho'Gath (most of his damage is magic)
Dr. Mundo (most of his dame is magic, though there is that ad buff, not sure which is better)
Fiddlesticks (mage with heal, better sustain)
Garen (not sure how good he would be, but he does have spin + shield + ad buff)
Jarvan IV (shield + flag + high base stats)
Karthus (mage whose squishy, nuff said)
Leona (already has a shield so makes sustain so much better)
Malphite (runs off armor + shield)
Mordekaiser (shield + armor buff)
Nasus (already has 25 Arp from SF so better sustain with passive)
Nunu (builds whatever he pleases so can make up for no ca)
Taric (heal + armor buff/debuff)
Udyr (turtle)
Most viable:
Udyr, Malph, Ram, Leona, Taric, Trundle, Nasus, Jarvan, Mundo

They could work with armor quints, but for some I think offensive runes are better for more speed in the jungle.
Cho benefits a lot from AS quints and marks, so I dunno bout him.
I could see them on Nunu to make his counterjungling even more nightmarish by allowing him to pick up boots easier than ever before.

Probably a bad idea.

**** NO.

Malphite (runs off armor + shield)

Here we got a really good candidate for armor quints. I gotta try them on him.

Bad/don't know junglers.

Alot of the things you say are just flat out wrong --.--

On typical AP jungle champions I'd much rather have flat AP for the speed.

He has very strict runes. I don't think that Armor Quints would help his jungle in the slightest.

Thank you to jhoijhoi for the sig, and all the dividers in the guide.

Yea, since he's got lifesteal he should probably get offensive quints for better speed AND survivability.

He gets really low without a leash using Stonewall's runes though so, if I have some spare IP lying around after I buy Ez, I think I'll try them and see if it improves any.
Sig courtesy of GrandmasterD. Go get your own sig from them. :D
