Champs have roles...Ren is tanky DPS, that is how you build him.
That is like asking for an AP shen build when there is a perfectly fine tank one out already, which is his role.
And whatever guides people release they release. Just look for them.

Yea, tanky DPS is Renekton's role. If you want different playstyles you'll have to pick other champions.
