It's called back-capping. Used most often in Battlefield/Company of Heroes/CoD (depending on game types)

You send a majority of your force to the forward most point, secure it, capture it then proceed to work in small teams to capture other points.

The problem is that with so few people on each team that sending 3 people to capture 1 location might not be as beneficial as sending all 5 to the closest point then sprinting to the enemy's captured point and taking it from them. Securing 1 point for the duration it takes you to move to the other. Contesting the opponent's first captured point forces their attention to shift, thus they either try to fight you or mirror your strategy. If they mirror your strategy (contesting/capping your team's initial capture) you leap frog to their previous point and so on.

From the current map for Dominion it looks like there are 5 or 6 capture points (can't tell from the image if mid has a capture point or not). A solid opening (due to the positioning of the points) might be send 1 person to your closest capture point away from the windmill side and send 4 to windmill. Then back cap to the point before the windmill capture.

Fighting and contesting windmill as often as possible while BD capturing exposed points or re-capturing or contesting points you already own.

Solid champs for this will be high mobility and CC. I've already stated Teemo will probably be a top pick for this. As well as stealth based champs. Teemo at 6 means shrooms to block/ward and defend points. Teemo and one other person (once they hit 6) could probably hold down 1 point for awhile as long as he can poop out shrooms all day long.

Heavy DPS champions will always carry the team. If I'm still hearing things well, you'll have many 1v1 situations while lurking around the map. And, as it was said, mobility will be nice too.

So champions like Master Yi, Tryndamere, Jax and Twitch will be great picks.

Most likely extremely reduced death times to enable players to continually fight for survival vs summoner's rift where you could be ahead all game and then get aced and lose.

I think that Eve and Twitch will shine. Eve already has great mobility, and any good roaming Eve will have fun with this. If she gets ahead in items, she can easily burst anyone 1v1, and if there is enough chaos, Im sure it will happen a lot.

And lets face it, Twitch is one of the better assassin's out there. If the enemy can be scattered, he can easily sneak around and do what he does best. Ambush, get the kill, and walk away like nothing happened.

But they're re-working stealth. And overhauling Eve and Twitch. Their skill sets right now might be more potent especially with the ability to stya stealthed and walk up to or around people. Come stealth re-work Eve and Twitch will be played a bit differently IMO.

Inb4 Call of Duty sound packs for LoL
But ya, securing the initial two points near your base is obvious, it's just how many people do you need to do that and how many do you send to start capturing the other points? Also the point in the center isn't a capture point, it's the equivalent of picking up a blue or red buff.

Anyone else see the possibility of a dual roamer/support meta? Karma + Udyr anyone?
