Actually I only made 2 spells cost 10 less. What will really make a difference will be the buffs to his base mana and mana-reg and the per level values. His current reg is very ****ty.

I don't like chance. I hope they change it to just deal bonus damage (Alpha Strike too).
I like the idea of DBC dealing double damage to minions. Maybe a buff to his scaling damage on DBC could also be in place.

I've done it. But he still has mana problems and HP problems, both which I'm pretty sure can be attributed to ****ty base regen.

I can do blue, wolves, wraiths and golems, but red is a little too strong with a regrowth start. It should be possible to take red with 0/21/9 masteries though.

Added another change.
Defensive Ball Curl:
- Mana cost reduced to 40 from 50.
- Damage on attack changed to 20/28/36/44/50 from 22/26/32/38/46.
- Now deals double damage to monsters and minions.

Searz, do you gain anything from this theorycrafting? Not that I don't like to read and discuss, but if you're not making Riot aware of this, you just kinda waste good ideas :)

Searz, I have a suggestion, I feel it makes Rammus wort playing.
Rylai's. Rammus ult with Rylai's is just disgusting.
Combo that with a Sunfire and a FoN and you've got a healthy block of HP to make the most out of your defensive stance :)

-Make Rammus a stealth character.
-Have Rammus's taunt do obscene amounts of damage to minions.
-Make it so you go through units (champions too) while in powerball.
-Make a new mechanic, knock down, and have Rammus's ult knock people down.
-ok.
-Make it so Rammus actually makes sense and has to always move while in powerball.
-Make a new mechanic, run over, and have powerball run over whoever Rammus went over.
These seem like some good ideas.
But cereally, the fact that his passive gives him AD but he skills do magic damage has never made sense to me. If they made his damage purely magic or purely physical, they could buff the base damages because they'd be easier to counter, only taking either armor or MR. I'm probably completely wrong in that statement and will get large amounts of comments assuring that I am, and how stupid I am for even thinking such a thing. /selfpityandorwhining
I would really like to see Rammus a very viable choice again. He was so annoying when everyone played him, and I sure love annoying champs. (Taric is the most popular annoying champ atm, at least in my opinion. Mundo was annoying until they nerfed his balls into raisins.)
