It's amazing how he gets banned pretty often in low ELO :/
Often I see people going, OMG BAN AMUMU OKAYOKAY NOW ALISTAR OKAY THEN RAMMUS CAZ THEY HAS STUN AND ANNOYING AND OP DISABLES
Rammus IMO is pretty bad :c
His jungle is slow as hell, and ganking...well...its not as good anymore.

I like Rammus, and have even carried a couple games with him, somehow. lol I've never jungled him, but in lane I've dominated as long as I was laning with a strong partner. Haven't ever played him rank though, only in normal.

Ehm, honestly... I wish I could say yes I can, but I can't solo top with most AP champs :P

Rammus is still a strong pick, ppl just tend to build armor on him without any HP, and thats ****tarded bs, cuz he has one of the lowest Hp gain per lvl cuz of his W.
He has godlike Initiate, 2 nices CC's and his ult is just so ****in strong considering he doesnt build any AP.

Im not playin him this days anymore so often, normally i was goin like:
HoG
Giants Belt
Boots of choice
bam his core, rest depends on enemy, but i never would go a "full magic res/armor" item on him like FoN or Thornmail cuz it gives him no HP.

The last game i playd him Tough, i was goin Atmogs, Warmogs on him isnt bad, in no way, and since they got 3 AD's i was goin for Atmas next, got something round 190 AD thanks to his passive+atmas effect, and with W on i even got more dmg then Winter when he playd AD TF

Edit: i see no ****in problems with Rammus jungle, he isnt slower then Warwick and he has way enough HP/mana to clear Wraiths&Wolfs after he cleared it once full.

On-Topic:

You know, when the jungle remake comes, Jungle Rammus is definitely going to be good again. Counter-jungling won't hurt him at all anymore. Although invader ganks will still scare him silly.

I've recently seen several Rammus totally win the game for be by laning with another AD-based champion, whether melee or ranged. Very cool.
The healer reworks will cut down that sustain meta. Giving him the right to lane on bottom with the carry or a bruiser viably.

So, honestly, I don't think Rammus needs any changes. (Except I still think he deserves to slow on Tremors)

It was just a matter of him not fitting in the meta very well. He's already top-tier in Dominion too.

Rammus used to be pretty good, but his laning is pretty awful, and since his jungling kinda falls flat(no sustain, slow, can't deal with much invasion), and while his ganks are good, he's just plain not all that great anymore to me. Plus he's only most effective against AD champs. Sorta like Galio in that way, but he can't solo and he has no farm :/ He's still pretty good, but an awkward kinda champ in that he doesn't fit in anywhere earlygame. There are better junglers, and if you need a jungler tank... please pick amumu.

@Jhoi Refresh my memory, they're just generally making jungling more accessible for more characters?

The reason rammus was good as a jungler before, was because even though his jungling speed was relatively slower, he had so much presence, and he had amazing ganks. You would see him at blue with CV, and the next second he would be at your top lane flash ganking with powerball. Now that he got nerfed, he has absolutely horrible jungling speed, manageable ganks, and no sustain.
